Jayaram Ramesh, IIT(B),MIT alumnus...Shashi Tharoor, the youngest Indian with prolonged exposure at UN: two of the brightest minds inspirational enough to make any educated Indian feel proud of. Despite having potential to make a difference, both remain grossly underutilised for the good of the country, maybe owing to their political affiliations where they wasted their precious time. It's so heart warming to watch both together like some long lost classmates... or twins lost in Kumbh fair... impeccable English n eloquence of both of them being the added bonus...Kudos for this lovely, lively n highly rewarding video! I'm a huge fan of both of them...my respects🙏🙏🙏 to both the stalwarts!

I hope you all forgot that VK Krishna Menon was also indulged in India's MIG deal with USSR. He was the person who did not let us buy superior western air crafts. He also was fired by Nehru as he mishandled the Indo-China conflict in 1962. In 1962, KGB (Soviet spy) supported Menon to strengthen his stance. So he was also connected with USSR in forming Pro USSR Indian policies.

Walter CronK was the star TV interviewer in sixties.
None in America wanted to touch VKK even with a barge poll for he was Communist fellow-traveller.
With VKK across, Walter read through his bio-data, admiring in between & he wrapped it up with the remark. "with all these admirable accomplishments, you are a Communist...?" crinkling his nose in disgust.
VKK did the same with Walter, summed it up with the remark, "yet you are bas-turd?". Walter took it without fuss and the interviw lasted with no further incident. That was the guts of him.

He made feel INDIA low in 1962. Supported China at the UN veto to China but China attacked India in 1962. He lied about China being good and honest but later the whole world knows how cheatful CHINA is.

VK Krishna Menon was smart but forgot that the Indian freedom movement was based on the principle of Ahimsa(non violance). His insubordination by ordering the attack on Goa had fatal consequences a year later in 1962. On busting the Ahimsa myth in 1961, the Chinese felt that attacking India in 1962 was just. India lost the cream of its army in this war. Selection of incompetent Kaul as commanding General was a grave error leading to many army deaths.
VK Krishna Menon was entirely responsible.
