Stayed at the hotel and golfed in a charity tournament 2 days ago there. My wife's family runs the tournament every year there. Amazing hotel and beautiful course. Apparently the old station was torn down about a year ago from what I hear. Wish I had seen this sooner. Definitely would have liked to talk a walk out and explore it.
You can get to it from 302 or 142 maple hill road connects the two roads . I have 60 acres for sale not far from it. I often thought about trying to save it and take it down and move it to that land so I can bring it back to it's original luster
Its a shame . I know some people that was going to use that design for a small home . Love the area . Well , live as well in the area . Thanks for posting guys
Thanks. We have been there a couple times now. Not sure how much longer it can stay standing the way it is leaning. We saw a couple golf balls inside the building too. LOL

@@WeRmudfun having spoken to some members of the town Selectmen board, your information is accurate. Not sure on tbe timelines but I was told that the plan is to move the building to the center of town for restoration/preservation.
@@WeRmudfun I had heard that....I hope when the town is done, BOTH buildings will be restored to their former glory as they are incredible architecture! Thank you for the info...fingers crossed we get some activity

Kinda of sad it was once a popular hub of bethelham now just a forgotten building on the side of the road used to have many trains arriving each back in the day
Thank You! Yes, it has been standing there doing nothing for 96 years, except maybe slanting. LOL It is located behind the golf course. Trail is off Maplewood Hill Rd. You can pretty much see it from the street.
@@WeRmudfun lol 😆 it really looks like a wreck and if is the same place(looks very familiar) I've seen videos where TH-cam go inside. Has anyone ever braved the upstairs? Could be another place I'm thinking of I have watched a lot of urban abandoned places.😱😵
@@Queenie_78 We went upstairs a few years ago, but wasn't chancing it now. The building is in worse shape. We push it sometimes, but we have our limits, plus it is now clearly marked to keep out and private property. 🙄😳

I don't know if you guys take recommendations, but if you want to go to another super cool place in the north country, check out Brunswick Springs in Vermont. A lot of history and lure, your kind of place. Great video!!

No, we did not experience anything. For what we understand, they are trying to restore the station. The leaning wall has been reinforced.
