So one of you pointed out that it isn’t really changing the other settings, just changing the scale of the preview. Not sure if a bigger scale for it to plot your stick controls will change the overall settings. It seems like it does but not sure. DJI doesn’t release that kind of info.

The best drone on the market! I just love it! Thanks for the video.

No, when you change one setting the other setting doesn't change, it's just the scale of the plot changed so the same rate looks different.

Okay, so I looked into this and I think you are right. However, it also seems if I raise the center sensitivity all the way up it changes the plot for all of them, which would mean it would still effect the other movement rates because they are on a larger profile, right?

no, centre sensitivity is also changing the scale - so its not changing the other axis.... however what is interesting is, as you take centre sensivity above the max rate, if goes beyond linear and essential starts increasing max roll rate. however, is possible this is just a UI bug. you could test this on the FPV, by having a low max rate, and then setting a large centre sensitivity and seeing if the roll rate does increase?!

i totally get your point on the EXP towards the end of the video but to me, using higher EXP together with lower center sensitivity is actually a nice way to fly, especially as a total beginner, since you can get really smooth cinematics while still having the ability to easily throw in some flips and stuff if i move the sticks out of the "comfort zone".

i just got my DJI FPV yesterday and only spent 1.5 hours in the simulator so far, but just by using custom rates 60/400/0.9 for all axes, i'm already able to fly much better than with the stock settings.

would still prefer the betaflight format, with an rc rate and then an expo, and then the max is calculated from both
really, i would prefer three settings. one that moves all the rc rates in unison up or down, and then a second that moves the expos in unison, and then a third, that controls the raitos of expo rates to each other. I like my expo 2/3rds of pitch and roll always. then the other two settings, vary according to location and condition or style you want to fly with slider bars.
Probably the most annoying thing about BF, is you only have 6 rate profiles, and the resolution of the numbers you adjust is only... 2 decimal places. a third would be much nicer, but why even limit it, you're doing floating point math. unless in the FC its actually working with 8 bit integer fractional numbers in which case, yeah, 0 to 256 / 100. The FC hardware would have to be pretty weak to have to revert to that tho, that's old school 8 bit computing fast math.

Just refreshed my dji fly app, but do not see any of your views. Is Android so different?

No bro. Yaw, Roll, and Pitch will not affect each other. What u see is just e graph scale going bigger or smaller. Not your fault, DJI didnt make it clear. If u worked on rates in drone progs like Betaflight / iNav etc, their graphs would have grids. Giving graph scale changes obvious. Please clarify this.

I did clarify this. Top, pinned comment on this video.

i would not test rates in a simulator that is sooo far from reality than the DJI Simulator!!! (good for learning the controls, but nothing else...)
