Does anyone know what the MARTA trains' original propulsion system sounded like back in these days, prior to the refurbishment in the early 2000s? Did they sound anything like the Westinghouse Choppers used on the Washington Metro vehicles back in the 90s?

I sure hope we see some old MARTA buses soon. They were much better than the modern day buses that is for sure

The 310s propulsion had a sort of high pitched humming sound, and the 311s propulsion had more of deep bass filled humming sound.

I do remember Marta did have 4 cars in the 90's I remember as a kid I use to take the Marta with family.
