    In the latest version of the game (2024), the German Sd.Kfz 250/3 (Command) has binoculars in the number 2 weapon slot that any soldier can use. Brandenburgers have scout sight and stealth.

    I personally like the motorized units because I can quickly transport them near the front and easily redeploy them to a different section of the battlefield. Using them also saves on micromanagement and clutter when spawned in. Great vid keep it up! 👍

    Thank you for creating this guide! I've been trying to get into this game and the subtle difference between different infantry squads can be painstaking.
    Edit: The bits of history with the squads was dope as well. Great content!

    A nice thing about the halftracks is that they can all tow statics.
    Meaning that you can for example use a 20mm armed half track to tow a AT or field gun to the front, and use the 20mm to cover the gun while it get set up. Great way to push a 75mm gun into position of have a artillery gun protected from cheaky infantry that tries to sneak up on it.
    Or, using the ammo trailer, you can basically make armored supply trucks, that can protect themselves a bit.

      @SirJellyBean  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very good point , and I do like a half track there a very cool unit .

    New to the channel, but enjoy the videos so far. It's interesting how units in skirmish or campaign are viable but in conquest they're worthless. I wish we got more uses for those odd ball units.

    • @SirJellyBean
      @SirJellyBean  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yeah I think they definitely need to revamp the research tree to make they lesser units more viable, hopefully they do soon .

      @@SirJellyBean I honestly think the conquest mode needs a good deal of work. Since it’s against ai with no strategy really, it would be nice to have a more traditional mode where units don’t cost much, and you can have a lot of them, but it’s all about placement and uses. I find most campaigns I’m desperately scrounging for materials and resources while the enemy just chucks them at me. Armies consist of hundreds of thousands of men not 45 guys lol

    Great video, I think that the Panzernest is very good in the early game, when the Soviets can only bring AT rifles and light tanks. Mortars and the like can't deal with it easily, and I find it to be useful on the defense as long as you have a truck to tow it with.

    Great video. I am very impressed by how well informed you are. Two things that you skipped are: Pz3 L,M,N have spaced armor 20mm plate on top of 50mm plate... which should be enough against even early 76mm russian guns. The second one is the skdfz 221... I disagree with you about it being a skip. The 221 is very cheap pop cap wise (only 4 pop cap) and you can replace the MG34 double drum by an array of different weapons (MG42 belt, PTRS, 30. Browning, 50. Browning. In case you are playing MACE => even the 57mm recoilless rifle.)

      It so dumb that this is not visible ingame before unlocking a unit.

    The 20cm spigot mortar's advantage is insanely fast reload times for a mortar with 200mm projectile worth of explosive. About 9 seconds. It's downside is astonishingly terrible accuracy.
