As a mum I absolutely loved playing the Pajama Sam games with my two sons. In fact I think I loved it far more than they did. After all these years of thinking it was some obscure computer game that I alone only truly appreciated, I'm delighted to find a kindred spirit. Super review.
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO!!!! I have loved the pajama Sam series since I was a kid. This game was legendarily difficult for me as a kid, and I even roped my parent in because I needed help. And then they were so stumped they contacted the developers for help! Wild. Anyways, with the new port to the Nintendo Switch, I was able to replay it as an adult, and WOW does it hold up! hopefully more kids will play this amazing game, and someday….I will say havarti to someone, and they will reply “provolone”, and we will play cheese and crackers.

Played this when I was 3 or 4 and this and freddy fish haunted school house we're one of my most nostalgic games ever.
I just realized something: Sam wants to trap Darkness inside a metal lunchbox? He must know the Goddamn Mafuba.

This is your best work yet! Great editing, good script with both insightful and funny moments, and major props to getting in contact with some of the people that made this gem! Can't wait for the next Pajama Sam review.

I grew up playing this game now I'm 14 and I'm letting my little sister play the Pajama Sam games on steam and she loves them. Life is neat.

So, did you know in the room with 3 candles there are dozens of conversations you can have by alternating between the three (and pressing in the same one multiple times).
Did you hear about the comic strip about the cat with the five legs? The jokes are hit or miss but the merchandise plushies have remarkable balance!

I have a super important question: do you remember an old point n click from around the same Era as spyfox that had a very offsetting loo... like.... it was spoopy and there was a very particular scene with a dentist's chair and rows on rows of teeth.

For some reason i saw the word pajama and immediately assumed bananas in pajamas
Can relate, this was my first game like ever when I was 7, and not only played the everliving snot out of it before I got a couple put put games, I played the game till the disc started to scratch and wouldn't boot up. Great analytics on the franchise and I subscribed just because your cool like that.
Probably has already been explained, but the brain in the jar/vat is philosophical debate. Sort of like the “how do you know that we’re not living in a simulation?”. It’s “how do you know you’re not just a brain in a vat?”. It’s all a counter to “I think therefore I am.”

Sure. It appears to be a reference to a philosophical thought experiment. Namely, if you were a brain in a jar dreaming you were alive, how could you know?
The animation seems to be a brain reading a poem, musing on what it would be like to live an active life, but admitting that it cannot, as it is stuck in a jar.
This is just my interpretation, though, it could just be random madness...

At some point probably! My copy of the 4th game on Steam always crashes and I've never been able to play it. Will have to find a work-around at some point.

I have this computer game but the disc is dirty and want to possibly pass it along to my future niece or nephew after I clean it. Does anyone remember exactly how to use a game doctor? (not spin doctor but the game doctor)
I would recommend just buying the games again on Steam. They're fairly cheap (especially if you get them in a bundle) and they would have no problem working on any system since they were built on a framework that made them incredibly easy to port.
How much is it on Steam?
$5-7 dollars for each game? Cheaper in a bundle of course.
I understand but wouldn't want to buy the bundle because I already have the second game which still works perfectly fine I believe.
Nevermind.. I was eventually able to use the skip doctor properly.. In case you or anybody else has it and are wondering.. the disc is not inserted properly until it clicks in and the handle move a bit as it is locked in place temporarily..
