I watched this with a tear in my eye. I have travelled that same route many times over the last forty-odd years. We used to have access to a little cottage in a place called Glen Gairn, just off the A939. I've been up that steep climb to the Glenshee ski centre on, and in some old jalopies. Probably the most memorable was an old KH250, which smoked its way up, and got so hot that I had to stop for a cuppa at the top, to let the thing cool down! Thank you so much for taking me down memory lane!
My pleasure buddy it’s the first time I have been there and it was truly amazing, I’m glad you enjoyed it there is more to come buddy, I would have loved to have seen a kh250 up there 🤘🤘🤩
One of the favourite parts of our trip oop north, was the Cairngorms. Great scenery and crackin roads. Nice video, brought back some good memories, cheers.
Looking forward to watching these Scotland trip videos, I'm local to the Cairngorms, good to see your route choice. Thanks for he videos, Regards Fergus
You definitely will not regret it buddy if you have not been before be sure to get to the west coast, some of the best roads out there! Hope you enjoy your trip buddy keep me posted 👍
Very responsible of you to take the bus after the 3 pints. :D Cool to see where they filmed Infinity War and good choice not showing any of it. I think you've done well in cutting judiciously. It can be tempting to leave it all in, and it's definitlely a question of preference, but I prefer a more snappy video than 5 minute blocks of the same road. That engine sounds great and good job for keeping those accelerating bits in, too. I think you've got the knack for this editing thing. Really good job. No shame in taking a hotel if you have to. It's better to survive and gain those experience points. Really well done on this. I'm taking notes.
Thanks you very much pal yes it is difficult to edit motorcycle footage, I’m still learning and probably always will be. Get out on your bike and create an adventure 🤘🤘🤘
All local roads for me, and many more up here where they came from. Great to see you on some of the backroads like Glen Isla and Balmoral to Ballater. Gairnshiel is one of may favourites and the bridge is now open again. The best roads in Scotland do not include the NC500 at least half of which is tedious and boring.
Thanks for you comment, I will definitely be going again it’s become my favourite place, I would like to explore more of the back roads next time too 👍
:))) When you get wet gear A comfy night to dry out is no reason to feel disappointed with yourself.. I have done the cold and wet thing Its not nice when you start suffering a bad head cold and breathing difficulties on a long tour.. Being flexible and adapting to your equipment and the conditions is The first rule of survival in SHIT JUST got real scenario. exactly ITS SCOTLAND .. be aware and be ready to abandon a section for the safety of continuing fit and healthy another day :)🤓💯🙏🙏🤳🤳
Cracking vid mate 👍🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻 Glad you ended up on the A93 pal, told you it's better than the A9. Just the one speed van ain't too bad. Best day's riding I've ever had was also doing Inverness to Teesside via the Tomintoul, Braemar, Cairngorms route, 311miles in 9hrs with a couple of stops. Can't wait to get back up there myself now!
It was very awesome. Thank you for the suggestion Richo I now absolutely love Scotland and I cannot wait to go back next time. Give myself more time to do this entire route of the NC 500. When are you thinking of going?
@@baylatron I'm heading up to the Outer Hebrides end of May, 3nights, then possibly Orkney & Shetland. Shetland is the big if due to the ferry sailings, overnight sailings. I've set 7days minimum, possibly up to 10days. Like you, I've gone previously and tried to cram it all in over 4 or 5 days. Going up on my new KTM 890 adventure, so can't wait.

I like your thinking pal and your right 👍
It’s not the Forth bridge. It’s the Queensferry crossing.
Thanks for the comment and Noted 👍

Running clouds 😂😂
Yes the running clouds are everywhere ha ha
Hate to say I told you so about the A93 😂
Yes you did and it is a very good road 🤘🤟
No twisties, no peaks, no canyons, no trees, no sun. I don't think I would like driving my motorbike in this region.
It does get sunny sometimes ha ha where are you from?
