I have the ebonite version of this pen and I love it! It's inked up right now, and I eyedroppered it. It has been very secure eyedroppered and I recommend it highly! I would like to buy an Uldem version of the pen later this year. Thanks for the review!
I really want to see the "other" review channel at some point🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Lovely little pen, and a a great material. Maybe the price is based on the work needed for this material, as I understand it, somewhat hard to process due to its characteristic. Once again lovely review and much appreciated.
I just happened to break back into my fountain pen stash after 8 years today. After loading up my Kaweco to use at work in the coming week, I remembered how I used to eagerly watch your videos. Happy to see you're still doing these!
Another useful review, Dr. Brown! Unlike you, I am still enamored with pocket pens. My three favorite pens at the moment are an Ensso Piuma Pocket in titanium, a Gravitas pocket in stainless-steel and a Schon DSGN Pocket-6 in brass. Obviously I like metal pocket pens, however (by virtue of my work in the aerospace industry) I am a big fan of PEI (i.e. Ultem), so I may have to add one of these little gems to my collection.
Schon Dsgn takes the cake for the best polishing on ultem. But this hits a nice price point if you just need a ultem fix. I think it's nice that they're also made in the US (California) too.
I'm about half-way into my pocket pen phase so I had to pick up one of these (to join it's titanium brother -- in both Piuma and Italia models). I really like the (non) weight of this vs the titanium model and find the posting much zippier. It does tend to write a bit dry as you noted.
This is an interesting pen. I have their Italia pen which is a fabulous pen. There have been other pens I have been seen worth getting but usually are sold out before I had the money to buy them. Will keep trying.
My Italia copper is wonderful also. Immediately regretted getting it with steel not titanium nib; rectified error with a very fine Bock Titanium via a Spanish company. It now is one of my favorites.
hi could you recomend a readily available red ink that's close to Corn Poppy Red? not too pink or orange like most seem to be. Sheaffer Inferno looks good but there arent any reviews of it on youtube yet
I love my Piuma Pocket in Ti. The Ultem version is a great product, but.....yeah, that colour 🙄 I do collect pocket pens, especially those with #6 nibs. Of those, the ēnsso is a joy to use, although my favourite is the Kaweco Supra.
It does look horrible but TH-cam's been flooded by these lately so now I'm curious. As far as indestructible plastics go I prefer the Pineider UltraResin, pretty indestructible without the urine sample look.

What's your favorite out of the bunch? Excluding the Schon DSGN one, it's not in my budget
@@phi1688 The Gravitas Pocket in stainless steel (although if you don't like heavy pens, the Gravitas in stainless may not be for you).

Polish ultem looks great
Thanks, Stephen!

Good review of a pocket pen. I would prefer that the cap be faceted so it would not roll off the table.

I use Sheaffer Skrip Red as a good and safe alternative
@@sbrebrown that’s the one I was looking for but it’s also discontinued and been replaced by Sheaffer Inferno

And, yes, I have made the Medium nib wetter.
It looks like a nice pen but definitely looks like it goes somewhere it shouldn't! ;)
I love cute little pocket pens and I’ve many such pens, but I’d not pay $95 for this pen..
Useful review, Ultem is not attractive to me. It looks like a bad urine sample.

Very interesting video.
