Why? My city is a dump, a ghetto. You're just seeing the main roads, go into the neighborhoods and you'll see the real Albany. Gang violence, shootings, murders. And the corrupt politicians, the worst. Can't wait to get out of here.
@@markjones7185 Really? I've been a few times and it seemed like a quiet place. There is not a lot of traffic, nice buildings and very good restaurants. I miss going to Albany, I even thought it might be a good place to live. Greetings from Rockland county NY here it is very safe but the rent is too expensive
@@juanalonso1980 it's falling apart, you're just seeing the nice parts. We have shootings just blocks from here seventeen murders this year. My city is gone.

Just to the left of Corning Tower (the big building) is an open air drug market on Madison Ave. where people get shot. 20 people shot in last 30 days. Don’t get out of your car in Albany unless you’re a junkie.
I lived at 110 Grand St,between Madison and Ash Grove in early 80's. The area was littered with abandoned buildings,the zombies from the methadone clinic and garbage. I haven't been back since but I don't think it's changed. Of course one can travel just one block,eagle to swan and it's night and day.
I like the BIG city of SMALL-bany. There is a lot of free things to do there....
Did you drive by Silly Sam's Liquor Stand on Central Ave.?
The road under the Empire State Plaza was supposed to continue under Albany and eventually connect with one of the Interstates. The connecting roadway was killed, leaving a road to nowhere.
Would have been more helpful if you had indicated which expressway you were on and in what direction for the exit.

There are like 3 blocks of Albany that are worth it. The rest is absolutely decay.

This should have been narrated! How is someone not from Albany know sights to see? They certainly aren’t if they go by this video. You passed by several sights. You also missed the drive up State St from Broadway. It would have been a nice drive up the hill to the spectacular Capitol and the Empire State Plaza.
You should do a video of Arbor Hill where the real Albany is. The abandoned buildings, the murders, homeless people. This is not representative of what's going on here. My city, the dump.
Arbor Hill is not bad but S End though. Seem most American cities are like this anyway, some parts are nice beautiful fancy n boring n some parts are scary dying closing tense poor homeless awful n primitive n boring with few Asians Chinese Korean Vietnamese Arabic immigrant there.

News is so much propaganda too hard to know when they tell the true especially bad news for USA especially for white not gonna report it but bad news others especially Asians Chinese commie countries sure report it even exaggerate 100 time too.
