This show is UNWATCHABLE!!!! It’s derivitive, predictable, tedious, pedantic, & resembles little to nothing of the actual era. It’s HBO’s attempt to juice every last Game of Throne viewer because to them it looks “epic.” For the love of GOD why must all period piece speak tbe QUEENS English. An Italian accent wld make more sense. This show SUCKS
From what Roman history experts have opined. The show does take liberties with the political history but it does a pretty good job of showing the life in Rome - at the time. So, wouldn't really agree with the 'SUCKS' review

Anyway, Rome in Italian language is much more better. A version of Rome in Latin will be perfect!
