Sometimes I add a few drops of grapeseed, avacado, or jojoba oil to my rinse-out conditioner to simplify my wash and distribute the oil easily. Works great for me. Thanks again for your videos!
The usual blog and recommendations to use clarifying shampoo and moisturizing products did not really work for me. Sodium bentonite clay mask with ACV did wonders (please note that this is different from the aztec clay mask and works better because its more powerful). I've also heard about using salt in conditioner to break the proteins down, but have not tried it yet. Most importantly, scan all your products to make sure they don't have protein in them.
I have severe protein overload. It took me weeks of intense searching to come across real help, and they just happened to be snippets of comments from reddit users. I don't know why there is so little help on protein overload. I was also expecting more from this channel and video. Also suprised there are no commercial products tailored specifically to breaking down protein either. The clarifying shampoo and protein free moisturizing products are the bare minimum.
Hey Brenda! I mention a few DIY options here like aloe vera juice rinses and apple cider vinegar rinses, you can try those. I also have several videos discussing them more in-depth. On the flip side, I'm also working on something special that involves DIYs so stay tuned! 🙂
@@CurlyChemistry and that's what I've been using, thanks to you, my hair and my crown are thriving 💝 thanks again Tonya , you are a gift to my natural hair care journey 🎉
I made my own herbal hair oil. Currently, I have two versions since only one herb makes the difference. But I want to combine the two versions since it works for me.
My doctor gave this to me and a prescription you know like roll on thing for the Harris cuz I have the paralysis you know the sores on my head and I'm going to get my hair colored but my hairdresser friend said not to get it colored you know what's open source is that true

What about DYI's, because everyone can't afford expensive hair care products 🤔
