    As a fan of snooker apart from billiards during my teens I find Steve Davis an extremely nice guy, and vilifying or antagonizing him comes off as funny and rage baiting. Davis is not a bragger and is actually a humble guy.

      @rufanuf1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Trqize LOL which is why thats not what the comments about. Why is snooker a 10th rate game compared to Pool? Probably becuase its 10 times more difficult to master for most people. Playing both games for decades I should know. Whatsmore that also likely why the prize money in snoonker is likely 10 X higher than that in pool. Well thought out comment. Well done.

    Texas, USA. Just discovered Efren today. I drempt of shots like his, and even attpted them on my friend's table. But NEVER did i think someone could actually do them. Multiple bank shots, being able to plan a deflection off another ball...All while having perfect control of the cue ball? This guy is the best and has ice in his veins! RESPECT!

    I'm not disagreeing that Efren is a great player, but to say Davis thought he would dominate him is simply not true. From the start of his pool career, he had total respect for all the top pool players, and knew his own weaknesses in pool. Don't forget, the following year, Davis was more shocked than anyone when he managed to knock Efren out of the world 9ball championship.

    what's amazing is completely different styles of those 2 players. The way they position their body, how the hold the stick, how they shoot etc. Davis is like a machine, totally calculated without any unnecessary movement, and Efres is like a wild horse to the point I have no idea how he is so precise with that much of body movement. I don't know, if Reyes played elite level snooker, but I couldn't find information for this.
