Interesting to hear your take on the J2Ti compared to the J2K. Most other reviewers seem to think the J2K has more pop and power whereas you say the J2Ti does. I just ordered the J2Ti.
Once I broke it in properly it softened up quite a bit. It does have less power and pop than the J2K now. I’ve used my J2K so much it wasn’t a stock to stock comparison which is something I’ll keep in mind for future analysis. You’ll love it though I play with it all the time. Both are my top paddles in my current rotation.
nice so it’s very similar to the shogun! Reason I asked is because i just received a temu hybrid body titanium paddle with exact dimensions to j2ti but the paddle face has a gloss to it and I just learned that it’s fiberglass sandwiched with carbon/titanium. Aka the new Alien Paddle coming from Bread and Butter 👀
I've been playing with the Honolulu J2K (thanks for your recommendation) for the last 3 months. For my game, significantly better than the Ballr Heat. More control, spin, easier to dink, with less fear of popping too high at the net. Would you recommend me upgrading to the J2Ti or the Mach 2 Forza 16mm?
I’d say go with the Mach 2 since the J2Ti is quite similar to the J2K with just more control and less power. The Mach 2 Forza has even more control characteristics than either of these paddles and a larger sweet spot and is a different shape so you have something new to start testing and rotating with that gives you more variance and options 😊
Im in a bit of a pickle already. I purchased a j2k a few months ago but wasnt crazy about the paddle as i felt i needed more pop. My paddle before was elongated and im a singles player so i went ahead and ordered the J7k Pro. Played really well with j7k pro. As time went on i purchased some tungsten tape and put a strip covering the complete top of my j2k. now im blowing people away with the j2k, however before a game i have a really tough time choosing which fricken paddle to use now.
You were spot on with your Mach 2 Forza review and its been my daily driver for the past year. I went ahead and pre-ordered the J2ti with your code! My only concern is the -100 in the spin rating, but I am hoping the added pop and plushness will make up for it!
I checked out the glasses that you were recommending, I'm wondering if you have checked out the Brioti Pickleball Glasses and if you have what are your thoughts on them?
I haven’t! But I love my CRBN Pivots so I haven’t had any reason to spend more money on anything else! I’ll have to look into them potentially from a review standpoint though.
I love my J2K it’s got that pop and spin even after 5 months of heavy use. Way more than my Ben Johns Hyperion which is now a back up/ loaner paddle. The 2nd gen Hyperion started losing its spin and control after about 3 months
I'm interested in a Pro version from the Honolulu line of paddles, Out of all the Pro's J2K pro, J3K pro, J7k pro, which one would be the best for power and some control or over all the best Pro from this line? Any help will be appreciated.
Love the vids! I’m very curious about this but just upgraded from the Vatic Prism Flash to the Neonic Flow. I really want plush but want to slowly upgrade power. I’ve heard the J2TI has a “plusher” feel but how plush does it feel compared to my other two?

Love the content! I just pre-ordered this paddle using your code, and I just had a few questions about the paddle itself. I was wondering if you have tested the J2Ti with any lead tape and how it feels? I also wanna know how to clean this paddle after every use since I've never bought a paddle with this material (I'm used to using an eraser for my carbon fiber paddles).
Thanks for comment! :) I have just been gently using my paddle eraser and have had no issues. If you want something even less abrasive you can always use a lightly damp warm rag and just give it a couple wipes and then dry it off and you're good to go! I think it's solid stock so test it out and see what you think, but just about every paddle I use I will put either 2 3g precut strips at the 4 and 8 o'clock positions or I will put 2 5" strips of lead starting 1" out from the grip on either side and play with those two setups. If I really want to add power to say a wide body paddle I will use lead along the entire flat edge side of the paddle as well but it all comes down to personal preference overall :)
great summary of the J2ti. I was wondering if you think this surface will be longer lasting than Kevlar and Carbon fibre faces? Plus would you have to clean the face with an eraser like carbon fibre faces? Lastly how would you compare this paddle to the 6.0 dbd 16mm?
So far it’s relative to Kevlar which is relative to carbon fiber in my experience. They all seem pretty equally durable 😊. I’ve been using an eraser with no issues! And I would say this paddle is a sizable upgrade in comparison to the DBD
The problem I have with Titanium is the price. Seems like they should cost somewhere between carbon fiber and Kevlar. I think the Titanium name allows for a higher asking price.
It's not about cost of materials but what the market determines what the price should be. Which will be based more on the performance of the paddle, and the brand recognition, warranties and such.

This paddle would be the flow with better spin and stability (twist weight and sweet spot) and a bit more power. The Ripple R2 has much more power and pop than both of these paddles. So if you are looking for a very power oriented paddle then wait for the ripple but if you want the best of all worlds the Ti is your answer :)
