Im from North Augusta, just wanted to see what the Internet had to say about it. For me it will always be home but its just not enough here. The pros & the cons are more than likely the same exact things. Were so close to everything so we're kinda living from outsourcing. While in the heart of what we have here, its pretty minimal. You like to shop? Best we can do is, Walmart. You like to enjoy a restaurant? The best we can do is, Ruby Tuesday's. Now the very small and congested section down by the river kinda has a very niche small community feel and its nice and growing. For those that's not really from here though North Augusta is way larger than that by area, and county. You could even say north Augusta, has 2 sides. You got the one thats closer to downtown Augusta and then you got the one on the other side of belvedere. The city host two separate counties aiken being one and edgefield county being then next. Edgefield co being more adjacent to I-20. Now for those outside of here when we say its a neighboring city it really is, its not like where the city is miles and miles away from the bigger cities. The deepest part of North Augusta is no more than 15 mins away from Augusta, and thats if theres traffic and other things. Ive worked in Augusta the last 7 years and its no more than the 20 min commute to me. (When you from here, you would be familiar with most of us working in Augusta). That's probably one of things that effects our personal employment statistics some kind of way. Just to say its not a city with no workers but more of a city with not enough work. All in all North Augusta is a pretty relaxed city and perfectly fine to enjoy simpler things, Just dont come and expect to max out any ambitious desires you may have here.

Hi. What are the nicest areas there? I like the older homes and neighborhoods. Can you suggest anything?

Nice to get an overview of the city. I would be at that ballpark for many Green Jackets games. Keep up the good work Lindsey!

Average is 240k. That’s affordable even with 8% interest.
