I have inflammation at my upper stomach I think is Sphichter or Oesophagus. This inflammation radiate to my middle upper back for the past 23 months. I have changed diet, I have used different medications. I had lost 10KG of weight. I’m scheduled for Gastroscopy on 1 Aug 2024 in 2 days, I hope we find the root cause. May everyone going through this find healing.

I changed my diet 10 years ago , in a big way, stopped eating over 80% of Processed Foods aka Poison .
I don't eat spicy , fried, greazy foods, stopped eating soda 10 years ago . I most drink water at certain times.
I eat soups like potatoe , celery, green beans and I'll put in some meat for my spouse to eat.
I mostly eat the cooked vegetables; I like them better. I don't' care to eat meat , stopped that long ago.
I just want to HEAL and get better . I wouldn't go back to eating the way I used too . I don't have an issue to
change my diet, I have done that (again ) 10 years ago .

I’m going through it again this is the third time it’s occurring. First time was a little different and it was in 2015 I couldn’t eat cause food kept feeling food get stuck in my throat I thought it was all a psych thing but it got bad for a while I ended up not eating out of fear and lost a lot of weight I couldn’t even recognize myself. I think I was going through a stressful time back then cause Im noticing all three times this is happening I had been under mad stress and feeling so much anxiety. So I had an endoscopy done was given IBS meds and I noticed the meds helping with the acid reflux and I was slowly working my way to eating normal again and I was good for a few years and then it came back 2018, only this time swallowing even while not eating was kind of an issue. I was so devastated because I had gained back all the weight and then some from recovering the first one. I’ve tried getting contractions measured with a tube that goes down nose and throat, couldn’t do it. I had to leave. I couldn’t keep the gagging in control and it scared the shit of me so I had to leave the appointment and I felt such shame. The ladies were nice and I am grateful for that but respectfully I hope to never see them again. I got back on the IBS meds and started from square one. I got better and I have been thriving like a normal individual..up until now. I’m dealing with a lot stress and anxiety due to school and work and taking extra certification course for the next two weekends and it wasn’t until 5 nights ago I started waking in the middle of the night because I couldn’t swallow. I had to really really try. This is the first time it’s been like this at least I was able to sleep the last two time it happened and now it just torment. Can’t get a break. Well I’m kinda glad to see I’m not the only one going through this, makes me less crazy. But yeah I’m gonna see about talking to my doctor about this. God bless you all .

I have had symptoms sporadically for maybe 6 years (often embarrassing) and was today diagnosed with Eosinophilic esophagitis. My Dr. explained the options, including steroids, but as my episodes are sporadic, (sometimes months apart) and (fearing side effects from steroids) I opted to go with Protonix for acid reflux) and see how it goes. Continued symptoms will require a re-evaluation obviously. Thanks for the great video, well done !

My chest started to hurt it was a sharp pain. I went 24 hours now without food, just water it's getting better but I realize that I need to start back on my keto. I love your attitude ! You seem super sweet and compassionate. I would def want you as my nurse. I have been having this weird mid stomach pain that would come once every 3-4 months. But intense pain. I would forget about it bc I had no other symptoms. When my co worker who is 29 told me he was having a colonoscopy bc his issues I remembers my stomach issues so I scheduled an appt to see gastro dr. He ordered labs , MRI abdomen with contrast , colonoscopy and EGD. Hs told me he is covering his bases but he thinks it’s a stomach issue. So colonoscopy and EGD completed . Colonoscopy completely normal. EGD they found mild inflammation of esophagus and took a few biopsies to check for h pylori and other things. I am currently on medication for my esopagitis. I have to take it for 2 months. My f/u is this Thursday to go over biopsy results. However , taking these meds is really making me burp. I don’t remember burping like this before. I was told stay off spicy foods , NSAIDs and try not to have anything with to much acid rt now like sodas and coffee. Well I’m staying off soda but I’m having my coffee in the morning after I eat ( so it’s not on empty stomach ). I’m going to ask Dr thur if I can still have just one cup or do I have to stay off it forever. 😩. Also I was told reduce stress. I didn’t think I was really stressed but when I think about everything going on in my life right now ( I’m a travel tech so I’m constantly traveling to different hospitals , I’m dealing with a cat on chemo , I’m constantly reading and watching videos on narcissistic family which is a whole other story , I’m writing a book and planning to move out of state etc. so maybe I’m more stressed then I thought I was

I am going through this right now.
I was in the ER two weekends ago for severe esophageal spasms, due to acid reflux. I was put on omerazoprole and mylanta as needed. I’m still really feeling the pain and it gave me anxiety, and I’m feeling hopeless.
How long does it take to stop feeling the pain from my esophagus? I also lost weight from all this and it’s only been two weeks. I’ve always battled with acid reflux but never had to go to the ER for severe pain.
They said my esophagus is inflamed.
Doctor said it can take up to eight weeks to heal.
I just need to heat it from someone who has gone through this. Will I recover soon, and the pain subside? I’m terrified I’ll get another severe spasm again that lasts for hours like the last one. I am really missing my old lifestyle and really missing my wine and not being in pain and really don’t want to eat toast the rest of my life.

I was diagnosed at age 15, and now, 13 years later, as a pharmacist, and someone who overcame EoE autoimmunity without any medication, and I think I can offer immense insight. I urge you to explore the carnivore diet, more specifically, what I'd recommend, is carnivore plus carbohydrates such as white rice or sweet potatoes. Thick meats like steak reveal the underlying inflammation, but they don't actually cause it. The cure hides where the cause resides, and for me it was gluten that was making me highly inflamed. I will upload a video soon to my channel, a complete guide, for sufferers of EoE. This condition has taken so much from me in the front end (i.e., shyness, social anxiety, light-level autism, etc.) but offered so much more on the backend, on the other side of that struggle.

So I went to a GI DR and also I had troble swallowing , things would get stuck , like in my chest area , that had been going on for over a year. I dont think I ever had acid reflex that I know of . But he said I do have LA grade A esophagitis . And chronic gasteritis . So he did like 2 or 3 biopsys , but I guess I need to take Prilosic , Did you have any chest pains (burning) cough?
