  • Nobody had a career like Arn Anderson. For more than three decades he has been the epitome of “old school.” Hear him as you’ve never heard him before every Tuesday at 6am Eastern as you gives you a peak behind the curtain for the first time ever. Each week Conrad Thompson will examine Arn’s days in the territories, becoming an Anderson, creating the Four Horsemen in the NWA, becoming a Hall of Famer, and being a producer behind the scenes for years for WWE proving “The Enforcer” has a story unlike anyone else. Known for his trademark Spinebuster and incredible “promos” in front of the camera, it’s his timing and wit that has kept “the boys” in stitches behind the scenes. Hear for yourself why ARN is the new “symbol of excellence” in professional wrestling podcasting exclusively on Westwood One Podcast Network, Tuesdays at 6am Eastern.

Arn’s impression of Dusty Is hands down AGAIN the best Arn Anderson impression. I mean how does Arn do such a great Arn Anderson impression when he’s impersonating another wrestler.

The history of wrestling is as it is, because of wrestlers like Dusty Rhodes, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, and Ric Flair, and so on.
The performance art known as wresting is because of those legends, and the other legends like them!

I was a fan of ( Good Guys ) as well as ( Bad Guys ) & There was 2 or 3 one hour wrestling programs on TV , along with TBS showing 2 hours of wrestling starting at 6:05 . Great memories .

The only time I felt an interview was too short back in the day was when the wrestler being interviewed was one of my favorites and I just wanted them to have more screen time.

The extent to which Double-A goes to explain what he knows about the wrestling business, its history and his relationships with friends and foe alike is nothing short of amazing. He is quite thorough in his observations and never throws dirt on anyone. Every time I listen to and view one of these clips I get a new appreciation for him... thanks for all of this content.

Thank you Arn Anderson - you are a true gentleman - one minor note - Japan does 10 bell salutes too - they did it for Terry Bam Bam Gordy ........but overall - WWE probably does the best - I used to hate Dusty - because I was a die hard Four Horsemen and Midnight Express fan......but I respected him

Dusty do not have the greatest physique but man that guy could wrestle one of my all-time favorites. I love the bionic elbow. Dusty was the only one who could pull it off. And as far as Arn Anderson he had the best Spinebuster ever. Mark Calaway AKA The Undertaker said that Arn Anderson what is the best technical wrestler of all. I love all you guys I grew up watching you

Dusty had some faults-some screwy finishes, booking himself (although as hot as he was why not?) however as a mind to help build characters and create storylines-nobody in the wrestling business has ever been better.

To bring up Dusty’s selling, let’s be clear. He was an exceptional seller, but he also didn’t sell bullshit. He was getting gang attacked by the Horsemen, ambushed by the Road Warriors, beat up by Big Bubba, or in long drawn out matches with Flair. He wasn’t bumping for people to let an opponent “get their shit in”...it had to look good.
Selling just to sell is the worst thing to happen in a wrestling match. I’m sorry, much as I loved Hogan all his career, I don’t want him to lay a finger on Kurt Angle at 50 years old unless he has skills to make that realistic. Hogan’s match with Lesnar was picture perfect because the only offense he got in was when Lesnar was stunned from missed moves. Hogan got zilch outside of that, as well he shouldn’t have. Lesnar was a killer, and he’s still a killer. I love watching Lesnar matches because he will eat you up unless you get lucky(Balor running him gut first into a table for instance). That SHOULD BE like that.

Bingo. Love Lesnar as well. He gets it's a business and ur there to make $ not bump on ur head & neck. He's probably the only guy left who has an aura about him.
