Just like when the old Cowboys used to throw a quarter into the air and walk over away from the crowd and bend down and with another quarter that had been shot against a hard backstop the week before in his hand, he’d reach down and PRETEND to pick it up and show everyone how he had shot a hole through the quarter he had thrown into the air. It’s nothing more than a slight of hand way to take someone’s money with a bet!!!!! Take an empty .45-70 brass case and dangle it on the end of a string and go back 15 feet and try to shoot it with a .45-70 from a rifle Vice or a super solid bench rest.
