How is this a free camp! Whakaipō Bay Lake Taupo.

We see 2022 in at Whakaipo bay @laketaupo. The forecast was for perfect weather and it didn't disappoint.
We snorkeled, paddle boarded, and hiked the WU2K trail, from kinloch.
This is a great spot to camp, but you must be self contained with your own water storage and onboard toilet.
Looking forward to heading back here when the lake is a little lower and there are a few less campers cause it was pretty crowded...
