The runs in this movie are tool-assisted, utilizing scripts and special software.
The game physics were not altered. Nonetheless, these records are excluded from the official rankings.
The runs in this movie are performed on the maps from the competition DFWC2012.

Don't understand haters. These are script-runs, that is mentioned in description. I think writing such scripts is also art. Interesting movie indeed.

I guess it's more interesting to watch if you understand the beauty and physics of q3 and understand how insanely difficult/time consuming some of these maneuvers are, even for a scripted run! It's always fun to see what is possible at the limits of physics, the only problem I had with it was when scripting/botting was first becoming a thing and people would hide it to get advantages on the leaderboards.
actually i understand the beauty and physics of q3, but i dont understand whats going on here. what i guess is that they programmed every jump and shot to minimize the time? is that true?
its so freakin good what this guys are showing , i love to watch people do what they love to do :)

HOB - horizontal over bounce
VOB - vertical
UOB - ultimate (same as VOB but you have to stop to 0 mid-air)
ZWOB - zero-weird over bounce (diagonal)
UZWOB - same as ZWOB but you have to stop to 0 mid-air.

no, that's ok. Let's not insult one another.
If someone is ignorant and/or apathetic to scripted defrag, I'm fine with that. I would not try to change someone's mind and make them like it. They are just no interested, ok.
One thing I'd correct in Immortal's comment though is the "pretty lame". Not worth watching for you - okay, don't watch it. But don't say it's pretty lame if you have absolutely no clue how much time, knowledge and effort were spent to make those runs.
