I have spent quite a few hours limbing, bucking and felling trees on my acreage the past couple of days. I have always been impressed with your saw-man-ship but after putting some real hours on a power saw I am honestly blown away by how smooth you are. What a legend. All the love in the world, safe travels while you are abroad.
The king of never getting pinched! First time seeing you use a wedge in the buck. Great to meet you at Bunyan and thanks for taking the time for pictures and handshakes even after the end of Saturday.
I absolutely love this channel and the message it send to people. I was able witness it first hand at Bunyan and walking around hearing people young and old say you have to go check out buckin Billy ray at the ripsaw tent. Keep up the good work buckin
What a Rip snorting time, thanks for your howdy and being part of Team Buckin My ears are still ringing, of course they always are with serious Tinnitis, but now a more soothing ringing with the clonk sound of Buckin splitting those rounds. 🪵🪵🪓
Buckin, Finally got to meet you & your family @ the Paul Bunyan Show Saturday. Thank you for sharing your experience & time with the public. Safe travels my friend. 🙏🏽💪🏽🤝🏽
Watching your face when you run that saw looks like you're thinking "what can I find that will slow this thing down?" Followed by "Nope. That wasn't it." 😂 That thing pulls. I love watching those rooster tails of wood chips flying out the back. I thought I saw it kick back on you a few times and your face said "no ma'am, no ma'am, calm down, I'm in charge here" 😂 loved it
This is sincerely one of my favorite videos of you working ever! The different scenery and the style of Buckin in these different kinds of woods helps me out tremendously in my journey to becoming a better woodman. Thanks again!
So many cool and exciting things in this video. I saw my son at Bunyan watching you cut. It was neat seeing the difference in cutting that Poplar and that white oak at Bunyan. I think that saw liked the Poplar better. I saw BBR using the orange Stihl wedges. How did you like the smell of that cherry when you were cutting it? Amazing job bucking those logs with the tension that was in them. Love this channel. You are an awesome dude.
Bunyan was awesome glad to see you again. Got to meet Wendy Rita christine timan Marty bellhopper that was so cool. Spent the wkend there with my daughter. What a great wkend. Love you all❤
I have a Tulip growing tall in my yard as it’s our state tree. Gorgeous flowers on her. Not very hard of a wood though. That cherry is a bit harder. I just cut through some Mulberry…that is some tough stuff! Cool content Billy Ray! Cheers from Indiana.
after quite a bit of practice i'm pretty dang good at hand filing my saw now. big thanks to the detailed explanations and tutorial videos of yours. i've got my 400c cutting like a hot knife through butter!
Yeah man! I never used a file to sharpen anything until I watched his Chainsaw Sharpening School video and now I have become pretty capable of sharpening quite a few things.
@@smorgdonkey I made a huge mistake a rock chopped my chain over the weekend when I misjudged my depth on a buck. 60 minutes later (it was a serious rock chop) I had it smooth as silk again and those teeth were all mangled to hell! Can't believe I did that but thank goodness I had my files.
Thanks for this buckin, great to see how you deal with those trees, they're much closer to what we have here in the UK - i find them tricky to limb and buck and not get pinched, but im learning! Cant wait to get a 500i.. will be one one my channel soon.. that Ripsaw saw is absolutely nuts.
She cuts (and limbs) aye? That saw seems to be a bit of a different animal, impressive. Hits full rpm quick ...and holds it. Handy bucking there brother, nuce work.
Awesome job fellin those trees!! Ya make it look easy Buckin!! I sell a lot of cherry and hickory here back home, it is heavy!! Be safe, till next time. Great content😊
I thought about you yesterday buckin. Had a 50" red oak fall this past summer and finally started cutting on it. Thought about all things you've taught me through the years on big timber. . Rare for a tree that size in my neck of the woods here in TN. I feel privileged to get to cut it

@@sizemoretreeworks thank you sir. I have a big issue with blow downs. I was helping a neighbor recently on a 30” red oak and pinched pretty good. I had luckily already thrown a chain over it so I could safely pull the tree without getting under the cut up stump and tree laying on their side over my head. Thanks man
Have you ever tried filing a chain sitting down with the power head between your legs bar straight up flat side toward you. Just spin it around to do other side. A cedar block cutter taught me this his cuts were always straight , chips were always big. Never saw anyone else do this. Would make a great video. Make sure you wear gloves. 😃😎✌
