    I think you're the first person I've seen who talks about the negative effects of crocheting locs together. All people ever seem to show is the immediate result of combining locs, but never the after-care, never any updates whatsoever

    Greetings Ingrid. Sending you warm positive vibes from Central America. Loving the thickness of the crown. When I initially tried to combine my fine delicate hair, that crochet needle ripped my hair apart. They joined together with patience. Thank you for sharing your journey. 🌻

      Absolutely. It’s my pleasure. This is the platform where I get to share my life and thoughts with people. I get to be vulnerable and excited with the public and it’s great. Thank you for always sending your warm, positivity Body-Culinary. Stay blessed. 🌻

    Your locs are gorgeous 😍 I love locs of all types, but yours are super unique and perfect. I have smaller locs, and I interlock my roots, it works for me 😉 I'm so excited to see so many of us black women in this moment with our hair! It's so freeing!

    I’m sooo glad I watched your video before retwisting. Sometimes I think my afro new growth won’t ever loc and it begins to look like it’s not thick enough to support the loc. I’m gonna stick with it though. Thanks sooo much my beautiful sis

    Yep my whole head looked "like that" at the beginning with my thick locs. I'd already had a 12 year journey so I knew what to expect and to just hold on. But whew! Some days were challenging!
    Your locs look great! I combined some via crochet. At first I really went in and I have 2 short locs because I broke them off. So then I just combined the few others just enough to let the roots grow together.

    Your locs are so beautiful! My locs are similar in thickness and texture to yours, which makes it difficult to find suitable hats to brace against the winter! I wish i knew that my locs would get so thick when i started. i interloc them every 6 mths or so and have a really handy tool specially made to interloc instead of using crochet needles.

    Hi Ingrid! Your locs look good and i do enjoy your content however i am wondering if you run your fingers thru your locs a lot? I was told to keep my hands out of mine except when washing them. What do you think?

    • @ingridfromtoronto
      @ingridfromtoronto  2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Hi Aziza. Thank you for your comment. Hmm…Do people tell straight haired folks to keep their hands out of their hair? I love my hair and I run my fingers through it every chance I get! You should do the same! Enjoy every inch of yourself from head to toe I say. Have all the fun. There’s nothing wrong with that. Cheers.
