I think this could have been a very good video. Love the concept. Just two criticisms: 1) Spelling management wrong on a CRM video is a pretty big fail. 2) the background music was so repetitive and annoying that I tuned out what you were saying at about 60 seconds, and stopped the video at 2 minutes just to save my sanity. Sorry - just my 2 cents. Hoping you come up with a repaired version so I can share a simple explanation with other team members.
This video really connected with me because I recently experience implementing a CRM for my organization. We live in a world where technology is constantly shifting. A CRM has helped us stay up to date with our clients. We were preparing for the CRM for about 18 months. After watching this video, I understand all the work that goes on behind the scene. We use Oracle as a CRM; we look all the abilities this CRM has offered us. We are currently working on some modification but the CRM is such a fast and easy way for us to stay organized and get back to our customers from anywhere.
Having worked in CRM for 22 years, i've seen many changes to the way data is represented, and now focus on bringing location tools to business that use CRM
The video shows clearly the most important points of CRM, one of them is to keep a good overview of your customer, so you can register your leads and contacts. Also, you can track all customer dealings and see how many projects you haven't "sold to" yet, by that you can reveal many opinions that you can implement in your business. Finally, it reveals you most value toll which is "data".
Hello Spenser, I completely agree with you comment. We are living in a world where this is a necessity. A CRM helps us stay organized. The ability to access important information by just pulling out our phone is a amazing. I am able to work with my clients and get all the information I need within seconds when I am out of the office. This is amazing. A CRM is an effective way to organize and customize many important customer needs.
OK, so the gigantic new building in downtown S.F. is called the Salesforce Tower and Salesforce is a CRM behemoth...is this video a dumbed-down explanation of what Salesforce is and what it does?
Im A beginner who try to understand the full objective and aim of CRM. Ive been watching the videos but still cant understand whats happening within CRM. HOW DOES IT GATHER THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS? WHICH DIVISION IN AN ORGANISATION IS APPROPRIATE TO USE CRM?
Someone has to manually input a customers data, by which, individual customer profiles are created. Any department which can gain advantage of knowing a customers data should have limited access to a CRM profile.
Yes, at the core of a CRM there is database that contains relevant customer data (name, age, ssn#,phone#). What makes a CRM better than a raw DB is the ability to administrate that data. A system which allows sales managers to create efficient hierarchical structures of how client leads are to be dispersed and managed. In all reality this software should be used to outsource expensive record keeping employees. Why hire someone(or team of people) to keep track of which clients have been called, new clients to call or not to call, when you can simply purchase software(CRM) to do it for a fraction of the price.
A CRM is just another tool that is a waste of time for good and organized reps. Besides nobody reads it at the end, unless you hire somebody just to check on it and harass the sales force to put in any garbage in order to make his dashboard look good. Been there.
Sounds like an expensive system designed for lazy and nerdy sales and marketing people who lack analytical and communication skills. That's not sales and marketing are supposed to be doing, sitting at the desk facing the computer. If I am the boss and my employees don't know what to sell and need to computer to tell them, I will definitely hire someone to replace them.

This video is annoyingly slow. Get to the point already. I"m a busy entrepreneur and trying to learn, please don't be so slow.
+videodancer1 you don't seem that busy
For the one it can be slow and for the other one it can be too fast if you are not into the business! The Music is not that terrible as Renaye said!
videodancer1 don't be self-centered, not everyone one comprehends things at a very fast pace.
I agree with videogancer this is damn slow video, plz change .
Only male characters? Lame.
How dare you assume the gender of any of these characters.
