I used my 3 year old phone for EVERYTHING (filming, editing, uploading, finding stock music & footage) for about 5 months. I still often film on my phone and it's fun to use old phones as additional camera angles. Nobody has ever commented that my almost 10 year old phone or my 6 year old phone footage is much lower quality when I cut to that angle. Thanks for hanging out! 💜

We do family travel. Even though we traveled prior to the channel, it was much more sparse. Now, we get out of the house so much more and it is amazing. Plus it makes our time at home even more special and comforting.
I'm always so inspired when I see foreigners comment on their fascination with daily things I take for granted. I still don't have the cojones to film openly in public but I have started trying to look at my area thrift the lens of a visitor. I forgot how interesting northeast Ohio can be! Holly, I have often thought when watching videos of anyones that they worry more about technical things, while i think, the audience doesn't even know about that stuff so they dont even recognize it. I love just hanging out with you. I am a bit of an intovert, so not having to actually reply, but rather than just listen, is the fun of sharing time with you. I love that you feel comfortable just being you and sharing that Sounds silly but i think of you as a friend even though i dont know you personally but only through social media. ❤
Agreed, generally the only obvious technical change is audio but I don't think that bothers most people as long as it's not jarring. I don't have a channel but I like that you said its not a performance this is real life good & bad that is what keep me watching. You are just showing your real life so its like checking in on a friend to see how their doing. I barely watch tv anymore I enjoy watching youtube videos because of the variety & being able to comment & having things in common its a positive thing you are never bored or lonely with youtube friends!
Exactly! I'm loving this TH-cam 3.0 where we're back to just being humans together. There are even channels in niches I'm not "into" in the sense of I'd do the things they're doing, but I just love their personalities. I've even learned to reach out to those outside decluttering and I've already made some cool friends, even from afar. One will be a guest on a live next month and I'm *hoping* to be able to host another new friend in the fall if it all works out. If not, I'm sure they'll guest star somehow.

Dawn and Angela had personal conflicts to where they couldn't keep up on the weekly live sessions so I imagine the recorded stuff is still available but I couldn't access my referral code for you. I'm also not sure if they're letting new course members into the Facebook group which has died down in activity sadly. I'm HOPING it can make a comeback because it was a great course! I just didn't want to plug something that might be completely done.

I've also been a TH-cam premium subscriber for a few years. I watch everything from educational/instructional videos to gossip about reality shows (my guilty pleasure) videos. So, the subscription is worth it to me to not have to click through ads. I don't have a channel, but I don't rule it out sometime in the future. Good luck to you. Regarding if/when you get trolls, just remember that they are miserable people who get off on trying to make somebody feel bad. Feel free to block and delete - if that happens.
The few people who have put inappropriate comments up I've hidden. To those who disagree I simply say thanks for your feedback or if it's obvious they didn't watch the whole video my audience will call them out (politely). I have total guilty pleasure channels - I watch everything from Charlotte Dobre commenting on am I the ahole posts to political commentary or whatever. My latest favorite channel is @OpenRoading even though I'm not into RV life or camping. They're fun to watch but also share real life challenges and I can't wait to see their Alaskan adventures. I considered doing a Survivor commentary channel but so far I just yell at the screen.
