      Lots of tropical fruit grows here including mangos! On another island Moorea we saw pineapple fields that were really interesting.

    I am planning to go Tahiti and Moorea in mid-or late September. I plane to spend 2 or 3 days traveling the island of Tahiti then perhaps 5 or so days on Moorea. Can't wait! Want to take a boat to see humpbacks. Snorkeling the lagoons and perhaps reefs. Do some inland hiking.

    • @AnyoneCanTravel

      You are going to have an amazing trip! Have you seen our videos on Moorea? That’s pretty much exactly what we did in Moorea and loved it. The snorkeling is great and swimming with the whales is incredible.

    Great video and editing, really enjoyed it! I'll have 4 days in Tahiti and Mo'orea in Sept. Any must do things you'd recommend?

    • @AnyoneCanTravel
      @AnyoneCanTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! We only spent one day in Tahiti, but I think the black sand beach was extra cool since you won’t see that on other islands in Tahiti. When we go back I want to hike and see the waterfalls in Fautaua Valley.
      We actually have some videos on Mo’orea too, but I would say you have to swim with the sharks and rays near Les Tipaniers beach. You can kayak out yourself or take a tour. Also September will be humpback whales season still so snorkeling with the whales is like once in a lifetime experience! That tour usually includes the rays and sharks too.
      Have so much fun on your trip and I’m happy to answer any additional questions 😊

      You’re welcome! I’m so glad you enjoyed the videos 😊 that sounds like an amazing trip and congratulations on the upcoming wedding.
      I really can’t think of anywhere I would say to stay away from. I think a lot depends on your interests and budget. We would have loved to do Bora Bora but it was just not in the budget. Moorea was amazing though and you can still do overwater bungalows if that’s in the budget. Huahine was perfect for exploring and a more laid back experience. I’m happy to answer any questions!

    • @MrCcobra2000
      @MrCcobra2000 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AnyoneCanTravel thank you, we were looking into Moorea and the over water bungalows and I read some bad reviews and how rude the people are at the resorts. Also the high price you pay, it's not all that. Then I saw your Huahine videos and that looks fun with the hike and scooters. We would probably want a over water bungalow or beach villa. We have been looking for a destination for months. Thank you for your input.😁

    • @AnyoneCanTravel
      @AnyoneCanTravel  ปีที่แล้ว

      In Huahine we stayed in a little Airbnb I wouldn’t recommend it for a honeymoon since it was really basic, but I do believe they have some overwater bungalows on Huahine they just aren’t as fancy as Bora Bora since they’re a 3 star resort. For Moorea we stayed at Sunset Beach and loved it. They don’t have overwater bungalows but they have beach front and garden bungalows. The beach is awesome and they have tours and rental right on the beach making it super convenient. They’re way less expensive than $1000 plus a night. The staff at check in and check out and when renting or doing a tour were super nice. You can always do a couple nights in an overwater for relaxing and a couple nights at a cheaper place and do more adventures.

    Are you in Tahiti now? Are you effected by the Covid lockdown?

    • @AnyoneCanTravel
      @AnyoneCanTravel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We got back on August 22nd. As we were leaving they started a lockdown from August 23rd to September 6th on a lot of islands but not all. So we got pretty lucky. We also went to Huahine for Saturday-Tuesday of our trip and missed the weekend lockdown on Tahiti and Moorea that they had before. There’s more info on the Tahiti tourism website if you need more details I can share. Are you in Tahiti now?

    Waterfalls!!! Those fish were so cool! Isn't nature awesome? Doesn't look like there were many other tourists there. Did it feel like you had places just for yourselves?

    • @AnyoneCanTravel
      @AnyoneCanTravel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is so much awesome nature in Tahiti! I think that’s part of why I loved it so much. It did feel very empty. We may have picked a few off the beaten path placed (the waterfall and blowhole), but some of the entrance requirements for the country right now have kept tourism down too.
