What a comprehensive walkthrough. Nicely done. I've played this game across so many platforms and have never quite made the 100% complete achievement. I love the game so much I fear my interest will pass to a other title if I complete it. For the speed quest I would probably go as a strider. The splitter skill plus ferrystone combo in the everfall quest was eye opening. Thanks for this video, I can't imagine how long it took to render and edit it.
Thank you Derek. It took awhile. Honestly I was ready to quit several times while editing it, and trying to organize it to where it made sense. The only thing that saved that decision was when I thought I should put a text Checklist kind of thing up there. But this video took me about 7 days. 2 days for playing, and 5 days for making the video. I even used my lesser steam account so that I would get the Achievement pop up.
I can understand you leaving that achievement, or an achievement alone for the sake of completion by idea. Sometimes that title of completion equates to done and stop. I always blamed this on OCD.
Come on, you must've already known the Splitter Ferrystone Everfall thing. But I would suspect that Strider is less common in your plays, since Sorcerer is one of your favorites, and I think MK is up there for you. And I know Assassin is your alltime favorite. And why Not? Assassin is the greatest vocation since Sliced Bread. ;)

As for strider, you pretty much introduced me to that vocation. In min/max builds it is highly recommended for a starter vocation so after level 10 I hadn't really used it. I almost immediately started using other vocations except for that god awful assassin. Lol

Thank you Phantom. Yeah, i can hear this as well. i was in a dilemma with the audio. When I kept the in Game audio, the NPC's dialog was interfering, so I wanted to mute it, but then I also didn't want my voice to be all that there was. This particular music fluctuates often with volume, and I tried to adjust for that here and there. Oh, the sorrows of video editing. I just hope that it is loud and clear enough for it to be understood.
Volume was good on my laptop, but my phone was low. But it's a phone, so what can I expect.
I had the same thing. Both of my Laptops and PC were good, but my LG phone was lacking.

Thank you Dragoth. Yes the one save was a bad call on Capcom, but they probably did it to avoid exploiting the pawn gifting mechanic.
I also wrote down the "Point of no return" locations in the description, so that should map out which quests are crucial and at what point they need to completed prior to moving on.

I think the worst part of the Fournival questline is if he becomes your beloved
Oh gosh. That's never happened to me, and it NEVER will! I will go out of my way to ensure that I get 1 of 4 beloved. Selene is my primary, Mercedes is great, Madeleine is ok, or there's a female bandit too. I think her name starts with a "J" I like her appearance. But Selene really adds to the story for me.

Thanks Raden. Well, this video doesn't count. I just wanted to show all of the quests, but also I wanted to get the footage quickly. But you can see why I hate OP. I took out an Ogre with 2 Splitters, a Griffin with 1 Fracture dart and 1 Splitter.... Boring.

I think they set it up like that on purpose. Here's a guy who has very desirable inventory, who is a Slimeball, that you would love to see guilty, but you are conflicted with a moral situation.
There are a few NPC's that I hate, Valmiro is another one. Man that baby is so needy. And then Fournival's daughter Symone, that bitch can rot in a pit of fire, while Goblins urinate on her corpse..... too far? I am passionate about those I hate :)

Recommend you divinity os 2 if you are into crpg and turn based combat.

how do you get one full miasmite? i’ve been farming phantoms and only get shards
edit: if you combine a miasmite shard with a firefly stone which can be mined using the nodes on the outside of the ancient quarry, the shadow fort side. you’ll get a full miasmite

Ya know, this is why I usually avoid watching your video. It always, ALWAYS sets the mood of playing another round of Dark Arisen, while I have this backlog of RPG on my PC and/ or Switch. Another great video, and another great selection of haunting ambiance music.

I find all of my music on TH-cam. Eventually I have recommendations of similar styles and they just keep coming. I am pretty picky with my music choices, and I will go through a few while editing until I find that perfect fit.

Of Monsters n Mines can be left until/right before meeting Gregorie just fyi. I normal stack that one with "Pawns Nightmare" (kill 8 orgers)

So here i am, i have all the quest completed (just triplechecked) still facing the Deny salvation quest, but i have no achi... shall i just move on? i though the achi would pop up immediately, but not yet... any experience from pc gamers?
I know this is quite an old video but the second well quest isn’t triggering for me. Is there a fix to this or is a known bug?
It does get stuck sometimes. You can try sleeping at the Encampment for a few days, or just the entry and re-entry of the area. But, I have had this before and it will trigger after awhile

If you are playing again in nrw game plus, then just the quests that you missed. All others will be applied.

Hi Nihil Ive played the game in offline mode, do you know a way to farm rc offline?
Offline, just Chest farming, or Cursed Dragons or Maneater Chests. I usually go for the Chest Farming and when I get the Maneaters then it's a nice little treat. But this is all done in BBI. Gransys has close to none RC, only from quests, and that's still small amounts.
With chest farm you mean reset with godsbane?
No no. None of that suicidal insanity stuff. Just going through and opening chests.

Hi sensei, I have a question, I got the trophy affinity and beyond with Reynard just before meeting the duke, I never saw the duchess animation and I haven’t received any missions from her, Did I messed up the Hero’s trophy? Should I go for the NG+?
If you have not fought the Cockatrice yet, then I think you are still ok. The Dutchess's maiden gives the quest. Just as you enter the Castle entry is where she is usually located.
This is my third run but this time applying what I’ve learned from you, but I was aiming for the hero trophy, so I hope I can... else... never mind! I love this game. I’ll try again if it’s necessary. Thank you for your answer, your time, and kindness.

Nihil, can you explain a certain behavior of the game for me?
On the quest "The Conspiritors", I acquire the confidential letter, and I go back to Gran Soren. Then, I get the prompt to speak to the guy just inside by the gate.. I do. I refuse to give him the letter. Then I go in and give the letter to Fedel and it says I completed the quest. Then I go and turn in the two quests to Aldous and it says that I can no longer complete "The Conspiritors", even though I *just* got the Completed tag for it. It's even green in my quest log under my Completed List, with the Completed tag *and* the 'Can No Longer Continue' box.
Any clues?
With 2 paths to the conspirators, it creates 2 quests. 1) to give to Fadel 2) to betray Fadel. If you choose 1, then the other is still active until the quest stage is into the next stage. If you made a copy, you could both give and betray Fadel, up until the stage is complete.

@@Nihil0.0 that would make sense. I was just working more on this achievement (with your brilliant hard work to help me) and noticed this. 30th playthrough, only beaten bitterblack isles once (again, with your help) and I didn't need this crap to ruin an achievement.

Does it have to be one playthrough? If you kissed something can you get it when you come around again?
Yes you can. Each quest is saved. So say you only need to do the getting flowers for the lady at the beginning but forget to on the first play thru, but do it on the second, it will pop the trophy

Have you at least spoke to Barnaby? Certain main quest needs to be completed before certain sidequest. I know how you feel. Sometimes the guide in wiki may trick you due to it not being accurate and sometime wiki guide can change. What I can tell you is at least begin A Matter of Myrmindons quest and you are not required to start Everfall yet.
With the killing the male or female bandits do I just do 1 or both
Boss, do you have a tut how to rank up your pawn so that it would use all the items or arrows you provide.
Only a main pawn is allowed to be rank up. The rest of the pawn you recruit needs to be close to your arisen's level and is not even allowed to level up or rank up. If you want a level infinite pawn, your arisen needs to be level infinite.

I started Seeking Salvation before Chasing Shadows and according to the wiki Chasing Shadows becomes unavailable after starting Seeking Salvation, can this trophy be done in multiple playthroughs? Can I leave Chasing Shadows for a NG+ on Hard or something like that?
You can get the missed quests in NG+, and get the trophy through multiple playthroughs yes.

A second playthrough will work. It has to be new game+, or ++, or +++ it will save the completed ones, so you just do the missed ones in new game+'s

Sometimes the guide may not always be accurate and sometime they may change in wiki so here is what I will tell you. At least speak to Barnaby first to begin A Matter of Myrmidons then you may start Ophis's quest. Certain main quest needs to start before certain sidequest. You can speak to Barnaby but not required to start Everfall main quest.
