Salamat dude! DI is the better choice pa rin for affordability, parts commonality with most ARs and top notch accuracy since walang reciprocating na mass close to the barrel. Pero solid ang gas piston pag operating system flexibility ang usapan kasi may manually adjustable na gas settings.

The rifle ban is idiotic, the government is only increasing/encouraging black market manufacturing by continuing to prohibit law abiding citizens from owning firearms. Just a suggestion, I think you should remove the podium and move the optic forward. The podium limits expedient manual of arms and moving the optic forward will aid in faster sight acquisition. If your rifle was set up as a scoped or bench rest rifle I can understand the use of the podium but it's cumbersome on an already heavy piston rifle. Besides that please continue offering great videos and updating us on the latest and greatest (and idiotic) laws of Philippine gun culture. 👍🏼😃
I agree that the ban is idiotic. It's even more idiotic that it has gone on for this long. Marawi ended 4 years ago. Yeah, the Podium is quite cumbersome if the build is lightweight, but I like space-age look of it. I might replace it for actual shooting if the budget allows for better furniture in the future. But as you know, since the ban, getting 5.56mm ammo and parts for 5.56mm ARs is now harder. Fewer are selling them since they are not easily sold now since there are no further AR-15 5.56mm rifles entering the market. That said, we are now seeing a growth of AR9 PCCs entering the market to compensate. Weird how that works. Thankfully, furniture is mostly common for AR9s and AR15s.

@@cbertulfo There is a way to have the Supreme Court review this ban and possibly lift it, it's called a Petition for Mandamus. The problem is that this is VERY expensive and requires at least 3 years of hearings, maybe more. If PBBM does not lift the ban, this may be the only way.
And also why we need to revive Philippine constabulary is to the 4 major command of AFP ...this is to help our countryman who was jobless mostly at the high school level

Then you'll be welcome to settle here! Our gun laws are quite restrictive, compared to the US, but are still the best in ALL of ASEAN. So first off, you need to be naturalized citizen or a dual citizen to own firearms. We are working hard to legally lift the Presidential Decree on that semi-auto rifle ban. If you like rifles, it will be allowed again once it is lifted. However, until then, it is just AR-style or other PCCs and shotguns. Right now, the only exemptions are the people who bought these prior to April 2017. For some undefined reason, the President is also exempted from this. Other than him, maybe some senators. Military and Police can also purchase 5.56mm semi auto rifles at the moment, but sadly, not civilians. Not even jail guards are allowed to buy semi-auto rifles (in 5.56mm and other rifle calibers). I hope this answered your question.

I think yes, but I am not sure. You need to contact them for that. The issue kasi here is that sa Pilipinas, the serial number of a complete firearm has to be one and the same. So a lower will need to be made with the serial number of your upper.

Hindi ko sure. Kelangan tanungin yan kay UDMC. Pero my guess is no. Kasi yung magwell ng S9 ay para talaga sa Glock magazines. Mas popular kasi ang Glock Magazines sa Pilipinas kesa sa 9mm conversion AR magazines, kaya mas practical.

I am not sure for other people, pero sa experience ko, UDMC rifles are great rifles. Ito rin yung gamit ng Philippine Army Shooting Team and they have won multiple awards. So for me, okay na okay ito. Maybe the problematic rifles have been improperly modified or have very rare manufacturing issues, which happens naman din with every manufacturer.
I really like that idea. Even without a war kasi, having 2 million 5.56mm rifles in the Philippines will greatly lower supply chain costs for parts and ammo, due to abundance. It's all about the logistics.
