I'm glad we finally have a reliable local gun manufacturing company, I was always worried about getting our weapons secondhand from the US, with more manufacturing power paired with our abundant resources, it's possible we won't have a shortage in firearm supply.

Yup. We march around under the sun with wooden fake rifles on the weekends in ROTC and civilian "army training". And nobody ever brought in a real firearm for familiarization in all those 4 years of required civilian training. The only people who have ever held a rifle in the Philippines are police, military, the very rich, criminals and rebels. The majority of Filipinos have lived and died without experiencing handling a firearm, much less experienced shooting one.
