To this day I still hate Konan’s death out of all of these. It was a pure Plot progression death and a cheap way for Obito to get the rinnegan.
If Obito could do such deadly genjutsu why didn’t he use any of them in the war? Literally not a single Genjutsu except the moon eye plan itself. And on top of that Konan was never ever mentioned beyond this point. Nagato didn’t even mention that he seen her in the afterlife when he was revived. She was literally just tossed away as a character.

Akatsuki is the type of villains that we can't hate, each one of them has a unique ability and a great storytelling from the very start. Most of them died on the unexpected ways, not only by getting killed by the main character. That's what makes Naruto Shippuden easily become one of the best anime of all time.
