When Twilight was popular it reminded me of John Carpenters In the Mouth of Madness a film that I watched when I was a teenager and revisited a few times when Twilight was popular because it reminded of the author and fandom and what made that film so scary how close it was to what was happening at the time because it was on point and got so much right. I highly recommend it because John Carpenter got it right again.

Everyone was shitting on that saga (i was siding with the potterheads), but they were not reading it and I can't criticise a book i didn't read so i thought, fuck it, I'm gonna read the first so i can shit on them as well. It was hard finish the first, i did it because i needed to, but then i discovered that Bella tries to kill herself a lot of times and that made me read the second. After that it kinda caught me, not gonna lie, i was perfectly in the target after all, and i read the third and i just remember Jacob heating Bella and thinking the worst things while her icy boyfriend coud read his mind.
