such nice and underrated video. sometimes, it is hard to focus on media that doesn't last 60 seconds, but once you have succeded, it changes your life forever. thank you for sharing this
I'm currently working on my screen addiction (phone, PC and television). It's still a long way for me but I won't give up. Thank you for the video. It's very inspiring.
i agree with this video. i’ve always been a reader and have loved going to barnes and noble. people at school always thought i was weird for spending all my time there alone, but i stopped caring now that i’m in college and it’s been the best decision i’ve ever made. in the US where there’s so many book bans and scary things happening-we need physical media now more than ever.
@@bookgirlie444 thank you so much! I agree, I feel such a sense of peace when I enter a bookstore or library. Its honestly my favourite thing to do it’s so nice to realise that so many people around the world feel this way too 🩷 physical media >>>>> digital always haha ✨
with book communities on tiktok and on youtube they totally shift your focus and make an endless list of tbr caused from fomo. I wonder how we found books during middle school and wanna go back to that which was this. just browsing the shelves. we shouldn't let the reviews and ratings affect it too
listen I’m trying to scroll thru books but my slumps be slumping and I find myself 20 pages in with no idea what I just read 😔 anyway I’m trying to scroll thru job application websites so at least I’m getting SOMETHING out of doom scrolling
Don’t worry!! I get into slumps as well! I find the best way to get out of them is to read something you are actually interested in, like a hobbie related book or a magazine with lots of pictures. I also find myself doom scrolling sometimes but realising it is the first step so dw! 🩷🥰
