Being from the great state of Utah makes me proud to hear songs like this. “It was a paradise for lizards when young Brigham saw it first…” And it still is paradise!
I was born and raised in Cedar City, UT. Glad to hear Bobby glorifying those '...crazy Mormon chicks..." This song glorifying SLC is MUCH, MUCH different than the Beach Boys.
The GD only played it once and that was in SLC 2/21/95. I was fortunate enough to catch. Luckily being the Head that I am, the first few soft strums on the guitar before opening, I called it. Everyone around us was like, No way!!! Howd ya know?" I just looked at em and gave em an ol wink. 😉

Haven't heard this tune in years. "makes Des Moines look second rate" always makes me smile . ..and Bobby pulls out the mean slide solo to boot

And the correct venue is Palzzo dei Congressi Lugano Switzerland
Only thing that could have made it better would have been shorts.
Why is this labeled “Haze” by Bobby and the Midnites? Definitely not. Can’t find Haze anywhere online. Could someone post it?
