the real weight on a TL rated safe is that you have walls that include at least three inches of a mix of concrete and bits of metal that's intended to eat saw blades and other tools people might use to get into the safe. TL-15 safe doors tend to be six inches thick when you factor in the security/fire protection and the lockwork.
Great video, but sure do wish you showed how you loaded this top heavy safe on a trailer. Even dovetails would make the safe tilt more than 2”
I've used pallet jacks to move safes larger than this. They carry the weight and are easy to steer.
I do to but it wouldn't fit here
I moved many tl rated safes this size and heavier with a pellet jack or roll a lift. Those skates are interesting tool.
You need to put the steering wheels on the front and the straight wheels on the back. Then you can turn corners and not just spin on a dime.
That safe must be a solid 1.5" plate steel side with perhaps solid 2" or more on the door...wow.

Nice to see how you got it out of the building but the real work would have been putting it on the trailer. Why did you skip that??
Thank you loading was easy, just electronic pallet jack driving up ramps. 🙂
@@waynewintonhow did you keep it from falling over going up the trailer ramp
Amazing. This is the type of task I would like to help with but not carry the weight of the responsibility.
Cool to be watching, tHanks for posting!
Absolutely
I hope you guys use steel toed boots!!!
Geez and I thought my 1000 lb safe (but with internal hinges) was a Bitch. Thanks for the tips.

Safe Jack's with dual wheels are way better, lower and with more control
What is a safe jack?
