- Black Rock boy Olobor is the most agressive male lion in mara reserve, the Black rock boys were born in black rock pride in august 2017 at the time they appeared as cubs in Safari Live, the best friend of Olobor was Oloisiado but unfortunately he disappeared and Olobor and Oloshipa became loyal friends its curious but Olobor means the calm one and he is the opposite, nobody knows what the next move of Olobor, for now he and his brother are trying to expand the territory, Olobor and Oloshipa are always on patrol, thanks to them Rongai pride and the other 2 brothers are living a calm life with no worries of intruders, these 4 brothers already appeared on a documentary i think its Brotherhood of Lions.
His epic battle with a huge hyena clan was jaw dropping. He was fearless and aggressive with over 30 hyenas in full attack mode. He fought them all and won.

Olobor was a great King who left us early, but in a short time he proved to be an aggressive and very wild Lion. A Massai legend that leaves us deeply missed, what an example of Leão.

I love how the Mara reserve just doesn't allow nature to take its course. The reserve treated Olobor after he was beaten up by other lions. This will extend his life. Love them!

Fighting even two lions is difficult for even Olobor. Now imagine Mr T going for a 4 on 1 and still growling aggressively till the end. Mapogos were the lions of lions
Bob junior growling agressive against the 3 males and died like mr t, when you are against 3 our 4 males you have to be smart, to be agressive till the end and die its not very smart but sometimes even the smart lions like Jesse they also die vs 3 our 4 enkoyanai boys, if Jesse was younger he was to old 12 years old its to much

Mr. T got his brother killed, then went back to his original territory and killed the cubs of his brothers before they all died off except the oldest, and then got himself killed too. He killed any chance for the Mapogos to produce offspring and a continuing a legacy. He was the reason they originally split up, he was the reason the Majingilanes took over the eastern part of their empire (and never lost it thereafter, only dying of old age - a legacy spanning much longer than the Mapogos ever did), and is only celebrated because he got so much damn internet coverage.
Lion society is fascinating and happens everywhere equally as delicate, violent, brutal, and powerful. The Mapogos just got so much internet showcase as one of the first coalitions so thoroughly covered, but they weren't any larger or tougher (individually) than say, Sakekamah, who could take any of them (Mr. T included) without thinking; or his offspring who have become a coalition of MASSIVE specimens.

The lookout males were trying to kill him for sure, not only advise him. But olobor is tank full of meat. They could not reach his bones and he survived. Olobor is a heavy tank and he know it.
However he had vet treatment that what save him. Kruger park need to adopt these principle. As much money they receive from tourists. Kruger park is corrupt. They bless to be in kenya

I wish there wasn't music, but instead just the natural sounds. I am also surprised the vets treated an injured male, as a male losing to nomadics and coalitions is just a part of the life cycle of lions.
Not in mara, they know importance of keeping alive males like Olobor and anyways his injuries were not fatal
No, they should save lions or any animal they are studying (especially a species that has low numbers) because they are conservationists, and the job is to ensure a species does not become endangered
