Yes sir , congrats on trimming a few pounds!!!! I must say , u sir have ur kayak loaded down. Everything but the kitchen sink!!!! Thanks for sharing. I’ll be definitely getting magnets on the way.
I have a 12ft Perception Carolina that I have kayak fished from the last 3 years and its fantastic. Has been fun customizing it for fishing but I'm more of a minimalist. Thanks for the content Gene and the ideas.
I wish I saw some of these when I still ran a SS127. I decided to upgrade to pedals and got an Old Town Bigwater 132 PDL and with it I bought the Pacific Yak Angler rails so I have places to store tools and places to hang lures to dry, so that's the best solution, but the magnets were a great solution for anyone else that would have been nice when I had my old Bonafide.
Gene! I cannot find the video on the yakattack blackpak rod holsters on what you trimmed and modified for more space in between rods! Thank you so much!
I like the magnet idea, the hook rack, and the velcro. But for me, all the rest of the stuff on your kayak is excessive. Im not a professional, so I don't need a year's worth of lures on my boat. I try to get by with two trays stowed to the right and left of the seat of my Kilroy Vibe. The catch board holder is also a great idea.
I agree with everyone who has noticed your slimming down. You'll have to start doing weight loss videos on the side. Another video that you might do is how to unload & load a kayak with tips for trailer mods. Keep on fishing.
Just came across your video, you have some creative ideas going there, good video. It looks like you have the Yakattack folding net, what is the holder you’re using?
Have you thought about using 4 90 angle brackets and T bolts to hold your BlackPak? I would if I could if a PA had rails in the tank well. The 90s would be on the bottom on the corners and then you can bolt it down to the kayak without a strap.
@@Flukemaster Possibly, I can see that if the 90s were facing port and starboard when the kayak rocks back and forth compared to if they were facing bow and stern along the rail to avoid as much flexing
@@Flukemaster Right on man.....I have extra batteries and a small screw stick in my tacklebox, just in case.....Haven't needed them since Motorguide replaced a faulty remote last year.
Kastking rods and reels? I’ve been off TH-cam for a while must’ve missed something! I have mostly 13 fishing stuff from watching your channel. I’ve heard mixed things about kastking, can you honestly recommend them?
Yep, I made a video about it. Rapala bought 13 and got rid of nearly all their employes and prostaff that weren't already with Rapala. Kastking has greatly improved over the years. They aren't anything like what they started out as.

That's why I had to lose weight. LOL
Gene you’re looking great brother! Thank you for all the years of content and looking forward for many more years! -Missouri
Looking good slim! The magnetic thing is genius!! 👍👍
I’m definitely going to take my dremel and trim my rod holders on my blackpak tonight. Thank you Gene!
WOW... what great ideas for little to no money. LOVE videos like this...keep it going.
Glad you like them!

I like minimalist too. It makes it easier to move around in your kayak.
Gene, glad to see you got your trailer back. Thanks for more great tips!
Magnets! Never even thought about that! Thanks!
As usual, great tips Gene. The velcro strip on the pfd is simple, but brilliant! I will definitely be trying out some of these ideas.
Thanks man.

A lot of these will work on the small plastic boat also, thanks for the ideas!
Brother, I followed you because I saw your awesome truck and kayak at sam's! Awesome content! So cool what you do!
The only thing you’re missing is a refrigerator 😂 liked your video.

Gean, brother. Thanks for the awesome tips. Buddy you look like you’ve lost a good bit of weight brother, right on.👍🏼 tight lines my friend

Saw your truck in Marshall TX luv your videos
Thanks for the great video, what anchor system would you recommend for fishing the Susquehanna river
Do you have a video on your kayak trailer set up? I did a quick scan through you videos but didn't see one.
Why do u have two remotes for your xi3?😊
Yeah, design plan for that board holder 😉
where did you get your dash board for your fish finders
It’s call the Captains Bridge and Bonafide sells it on their site
Can you have 2 xi3 remotes connected at the same time? Im a new owner of an xi3 and that seems like a great idea.
Yep. You can also have one remote linked to two Xi3s. Ask my son. I used to mess with him all the time. LOL
Nice tips, thanks.
You bet!

That sounds like a good idea. I just wonder if not having a little flex in it would eventually damage the plastic.

I was thinking about as I trailer it. That's when most of the stress is placed on my kayak.
Lean and mean Gene 💪Go Dawgs
Thanks UncleMac
Damn Gene! You looking thin! Keep it up.
Was first thing I thought when video started too
Thanks Alan
I've shrunk a bit.
My man looking slim!
What size is that cam strap?
It's the 3' YakAttack strap that I cut down.
Thank you
why two trolling motor controls?
Just in case the batteries in one die while I'm out on the water. I ain't paddling because of two dead AAA batteries.

Good to see you still active daddy
Yep. I feel a lot better lately
Rumor says Velcro was discovered on the flying saucer that crashed at Roswell 😂😂
LOL
