2:15 You should displayed with the sharp edge facing up and displayed inside the saya (scabbard sheath). The charm inside the wrapping it's called Menuki.
Mixed feelings about this one. On the one hand I like it. It looks great, the understated fittings and overall aesthetic is right up my alley. Except the habaki lol. and personally I don't mind dragons but flowers are not my thing, pretty much every off the shelf katana out there has flowers on it somewhere... so I can live with it lol. You get a 1095 dh blade with a pretty nice hamon. Which is great. I'm not to picky if it's dh or not but it's definitely a plus. It's sharp and it didn't bend on that bad cut, so it's solid. But I can't justify the price. 400$ is a lot in katana money, ya know? Not that 400$ is a ton of money for a katana or any sword really, you could easily spend way more and end up with a worse (or less functional at least) end product. These days there are soooooo many choices and the katana market is so over saturated and competitive I just think windlass is pricing their katana a little high. -100$ and everything looks good to me both swords look alright and preform well cutting so they're holding up their end of the bargain. 300$ would be more reasonable in my opinion. even then I'd still rather go custom from hanbon or rom. 300$-400$ can go along way on a custom sword at those forges. Great video as always brother I appreciate you! Nice cutting btw 🤘💀

Glad your back doing reviews
Medieval Review is back as promised years ago. Amazing. Right as I'm getting back into sword stuff, myself.
Hey man glad to see your still kicking ass and you look more like Merlin the Wizard than last time all need is a hat and staff (respectfully)

The title still says "Bushido" instead of "Shogun".
Good catch, I will fix.
