Good day. I am interested in using a note taking app with the Supernote, for BASB (Building a Second Brain). I have been using the SN and a modified bullet journal, within the SN, toward that end. What caused you to settle on Obsidian over the other note taking apps?
You can use de anchors in html to make de browser focus on the specific part of the post you want to share. Maybe using Headers and the anchors on important parts of the text can help you with the sharing part. I don't know how the microblog deals with it tho.
Hi Rafael, thank you for the suggestion. Anchors work very well on Microblog, and I do use it in some situations. But that would solve just the sharing part of my current problem. I'm looking for two features. A simple way to share, and also a way to update a fragment of content and have it automatically updated on all posts that have that information. With the embedded content feature, which Obsidian has and that also works on Obsidian Publish, I could easily do it. But again, Obsidian Publish is not that good for blogging.
Yes! That's the problem. Technically, very different, but, at least in my case, the same content works for both perfectly well. Every time I write something new, or record a video, it feels like the content is bagging me to be repurposed.
I feel like I need the “wiki”, but I love blogging and sharing. The thing is, if I could make both work together, I would be building the wiki as I share content. There's always something technical and some tips from the posts that I could use to build the wiki gradually.
I'm probably overthinking it because nobody is asking me to change anything, but here me out. The other day, I shared a Voicenotes use case, and in the video I explained a setting. Another example is the post I showed in this video. That paragraph is the only technical part. Everything else is my experience being shared. The issue is that I'm constantly sharing my experiences and adding some how-tos to the mix. Then, in the future, I mention those technical parts I shared in previous content. But that's not efficient, people will have to watch an entire video or read an article to find a small piece of information. Then, there's the fact that I talk about many topics. Now, imagine if I had, for example, a Supernote section that I could gradually build over time, making it well-structured. Even while building, I could share specific parts of it in videos or embed them in other posts. In addition to the above, if someone comes to the “learning center” looking for Supernote content, every important detail will be in the same place. Now, imagine these blocs (Containers of Information) for every topic I cover.
What would you do in my situation?
The concept of digital garden is much better than the concept of blogging. Go for it!

Your question inspired me and I just published a video with my answer. I hope it helps.

Sounds like you’re combining a blog and a wiki. Feels like very different use cases.

@ do you need both? I personally enjoy the Discovery aspects of a second brain style wiki. It brings up satisfying connections

Either you are overthinking this, in my opinion, or I don’t understand what the problem is.
