    Turned out real nice. That’s the beauty of making things yourself you can make it extremely custom to where you need it. And plugging pocket holes because of spiders… That’s pretty genius

      Thank you my friend. I like animals, but those spiders can't stay here 😁

    Great tip on checking out your lumber supplier for disconnected and sometimes free lumber.

      Oh yes, I love going there. I sometimes realize I have the wrong vehicle when there is a choice piece in the pile, and I will try to figure out how to get it home.

    Big Time Thanks. For the great video. For the idea. And the motivation to tackle this project. Unfortunately I don’t own enough spray paint cans. That’s gonna cost me. But really appreciate it. Had a pic to show you but couldn’t see how to add it.

    why why whyyyyyyyy didn't you give all dimensions, in particular the depth of the unit, ie how wide the side boards are ?

    Nice! I like these new shop project videos you've been putting out. It's a nice change from the PVC

      @SpecificLove7  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for letting me know that because I have a few more ideas I'm thinking about and was not sure if I should create them.

      @@SpecificLove7 a good number of your subscriber base might be here from the PVC videos, but those videos are household handyman (or woman) projects which these woodworking videos fit in nicely with. If you're video content started featuring fine cabinetry building that'd be a different story, but the theme of your channel rings out in these woodworking videos. Your videos are pleasant to watch and helpful for those that enjoy tinkering.

    Hi,
    I realize this is a couple years old but I had a question. Is that corner clamp you used in your Amazon shop? I'd like to get one for my husband. I like that it clamps down to your bench.
    Thanks for the video. This is what I'd like to do with all the cans we have taking up space above our bench (and on the floor).

    What a fantastic idea. I think I will make one like you did. However I will have to wait until spring here in the North country of North Dakota. I have no heat in my detached garage. I plan on making a waste oil heater.

    • @SpecificLove7
      @SpecificLove7  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      That sounds like a useful tool. Does it take a certain oil or will anything work?

    Great project! When you're storing spray paint cans, the more horizontal the better! Plus this keeps them off the ground and away from water because the bottom can rust and leave stains on the garage floor! Ask me how I know😁

    • @SpecificLove7
      @SpecificLove7  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you and great to know. I have been there too with the rust issues.

    I remember hearing once that cans should be as vertical as possible... is there any truth to this? I built a horizontal storage rack that drops down from the ceiling of my tiny shop, it's pretty cool but now i'm not sure anymore?

    Could've just painted the boards then cut them to length.. save you some time.. then its just a quick recoat when it's all assembled and harder to paint

    I remember a room decoration you made with many cut PVC rings. What if one side of those cuts were a bevel or a chamfer cut. You could incorporate your 1st love ...PVC ... into this storage of cans.

    • @SpecificLove7
      @SpecificLove7  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      That could work nicely. It might even be a good insulating factor on cold nights.
