    👍🏻😎 I love the rake. Reminds me of my lowered 94 Mark VIII I used to have. The wheels are incredible, great job on the all of the suspension work you've done so far. I'm a suspension guy and I always loved tweaking the suspensions on my cars.

      Its funny I think we found a good balance on the rear. It either has 160 or 180lb springs out back and I am surprised how how much a full tank of fuel vs empty has on the physical rear suspension height. Full tank the car sits level. Empty and it has a noticeable rake to it.

    Thanks for posting this …those rims are truly a strong improvement. Seriously, considering biting the bullet and gettting one.
    It’s a serious flashback to see an x-patrol car that color…my dads dept. Sands Point PD..On L.I. had them that color back in the 70’s

    Great wheel choice, Ride height looks perfect also. Something I always thought to do with mine was to color match the plastic rocker cover to give it a lower look without compromising the actual ride height. Food for thought perhaps.

    1:05 I was half expecting you to take us on the back porch to show us your new Harbor Freight Tire Machine. Lol
    2:26 Axle Vent Tube could use half a tablet of Cialis
    5:16 You just gave me an idea for a video.
    Put a gopro on the passenger A-pillar showing the driver.
    Put another gopro in the back seat looking forward.
    Stop by the P7B’s old in service department, and find a uniformed officer that used to patrol in a Crown Vic, and have him take a test drive around the block to get his reaction to the “improvements”. Lol

      LOL I've been contemplating buying a chinesium tire machine off of ebay but I literally don't have anywhere to put it. Would love to get into mounting tires for friends and family on the side. That being said those harbor freight manual tire changers really do work if you have wheels that you don't care about. Yes I noticed the floppy axle vent tube lol. What the hell would cause that? I do everything I can to stay away from Seattle. Eff that shithole.

      That should help a lot. I will say that even with the 18 inch wheels these are already 1 million times easier to clean up and just use a wash mitt even on the barrels.

      Thank you. It actually may be possible but I think it would take a custom offset wheel to make it work which would be really expensive. I think the +42 10 inch wheel would poke out super bad like a drift car.

    Any issues at all with rubbing in the front? Im going with a 18x9.5 et45 (2007 Gt500 wheels) wrapped in 255/45r18 with a drop on coilovers similar to yours, I’m wondering if I should roll the front fenders a little just in case.

    • @PNW_Car_Mods
      @PNW_Car_Mods  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nigel I can't say for certain without doing a bunch of research as that wheel you are using is a different width and different offset. If it is from a 2007 mustang it should fit though. It may poke some but I am not sure. This new combo doesn't rub but we also are relying on the shock quality in the coilover to control the wheel and tire. IN other words if we were still on stock motorcraft struts and cut springs it would probably rub bad.

    • @G33B0
      @G33B0 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PNW_Car_Mods I was thinking the same in regards to avoiding rubbing by having a quality coilover setup, I have some Ridetech Coilovers coming in from adtr, I'm also thinking that by putting a 255/45 on an 9.5 inch tire should provide a teeny tiny bit of stretch that would provide a little fender clearance. I guess we will see soon enough. Thanks for the videos!
