I'm sure it feels very premium but $300 for this is still way too much. I bought the original for half the price and put Gravity buttons in and loving it.
I'm new to Arcade sticks. But after getting it I think I overpaid by a $100. The cable management is a mess. The gloss piano finish is a finger print magnet as mentioned. I hate that it doesn't have a USB port(fuck you Sony).
Wow this is a hard stick to sell. - no hinge mechanism so you have to unscrew 8 screws to modify anything - cable is not detachable and is off to one side - the shitty cable door is now replaced by shitty thumb screws - secondary buttons like start, select, L3 and R3 are tiny instead of 24/30mm on the sides/back - unless I missed something there is no mic, nor headphones mute button - the plexi panel is tinted. It looks fine if you plan to leave it as is but many people would like to display artwork. In that case it's really dumb. - the screws holding that plexi are outside! My TE2 manages to hide them on the inside. My Daija MK2 also has screws on the outside but at least they're black. Another buyer said that Qanba used basic silver-looking screws and just covered them with black stickers. Those will not last. I have the Dragon and it has the same issue. - no LED?! Personally, I dislike LEDs of all kinds but the average gamer loves RGB electronics. They knew people would compare this with Obsidian 1. - it's entirely plastic - no screwdriver included I'll be honest. You design a mediocre arcade stick - you charge accordingly. $300 for this is disrespectful and I wish Qanba suffers financially for this pricing. Cute battop though.
You know it's expensive when even Jebailey dodges saying what the price it is at the first opportunity. 300 Dollars for a non customized arcade stick is, theft. No other way to put it. Do not buy this product, these companies need to learn they can't get away with this. Inflation does not justify a price increase from 200 Dollars to 300 Dollars. This is greed, no inflation. Do not support this company.
Will you be out w the titan review? That’s the stick I’m most interested in. Interested to see if you have the same issues as Briar Rabbit. Thanks for the content
It would be because the hori alpha is very light. But then again the price is too high for this stick tbh. I would go for the original obsidian or get the hori alpha.
@Odie50000 yes in my country this cost 450 dollars allmost, very expensive. But you think hori alpha is not steady so it will affect controlling it? Or maybe im too picky
@genantamtam9364 If the Obsidian is too expensive the Hori will be good. I'm sure there's a workaround to make it heavier by adding a weight or something
Even though I know Jebailey is buddies with Kenny Omega it felt real weird for him to say his friend Kenny as if it is just some guy he knows. Also I really wish for the price they included an option for the new qanba gravity buttons. The price point is a little steep considering there are other options in the pre-built market and there are even custom options that can match (or the wingman fgc once that releases to bring your current stick up to PS5) and I definitely think Qanba should have gone with an easy open option but I think when the stick goes on sale or one of the many event specific ones release it will be worth picking up. The discount code actually makes it pretty reasonable if shipping is free.
I have an obsidian 2. I really like it. Biggest issue with it is the wire management. Should be less awkward, or be a detachable cable.
good spending $300 for telling us that, ouch
@@gvulture1277 it is pricey but I’m really liking the stock
Are the sides made of aluminum?
@@nootypu Nope
@@gvulture1277then don’t support Sony and buy an xbox 360
Thanks for the Retro Revival shoutout at 2:32! Was great having you out and the new stick seems great.
Best local in Orlando!

300 dollars for this is CARZY
Price tag is high but with SF6 being so fun and Mk1 around the corner, it is very tempting
Got mines it’s worth it just the feel have the og Obsidian it’s great but you can definitely feel the upgrade just way more responsive
For anyone having issues with code, it worked for me when I clicked the link in the bio.
That price...I hope that code last for at least a month or 2.
Aww, man...
Should have waited for your video...
I already ordered...and got it (Qanba peral)
I could have saved 10%.
Just got mine today. Thanks for the review! 🔥🙌🏾
08:27 what fightstick is that black guy using?
A white victrix pro fs I think
Just purchased and used your code!
I dont like where they put the wire and also that they removed the led lights on the side panels from the previous obsidian
does the top plexi come off to allow for custom art?
That taper in the front of the og obsidian.. Would you say that makes a difference in comfort over the obsidian 2 design?
I am going to end up buying a qanba obsidian 2. I already have the obsidian and I love it
I have a lg c2 tv aswell thanks ceo answered exactly what I needed too know
Victrix is better for this Price.

Do I still need a flathead screwdriver 🪛 to change the lever or the tool is enough?

What other options do we have in this price range? I've heard bad things about qc and cs from Nacon.
Is there a special promo code at qanba global ship? Please

Tiene una pinta increíble amigo. Pero que paso con el alojamiento del cable 😅
Is this more stable than HORI Fighting Stick Alpha?
Because you mentioned its heavy.
Thanks

@Odie50000 yes in my country this cost 450 dollars allmost, very expensive.

@Odie50000 i just checked the weight of Obsidian2 and its 3.3kg (7.4 lbs)
Hori Alpha is 2.6kg (5.95 lbs)
@genantamtam9364 If the Obsidian is too expensive the Hori will be good. I'm sure there's a workaround to make it heavier by adding a weight or something
@Odie50000 yea that's what i thought too.
It have alot of empty space inside so u can add weight or something
Would the first obsidian be able to work for ps5?????
Yes. I have the pearl and it works fine.
Brook wingman
The Pearl is Qanba's best stick. Best aesthetically, LEDs, and NOIR layout.
$300?? 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
worth more world class stick
Completely overpriced. Get the Obsidian 1, not worth 100 dollars more.
The amount of uhhhs

very nice review indeed.
Putting a piano black top panel I think was such a horrible idea, this stick is such a horrible finger print and dust magnet
damn no button or stick sounds examples…
bro it's a stick with sanwa buttons and a sanwa lever, you know what it sounds like lmao
Thats a $200 stick. Why dont i just buy a shell, sanwa jlf and buttons and a brooks PCB.
qanba dragon > the rest
This unit is clearly ready for mods
