I think what he meant by “every day we kill our idols” was more of a metaphorical death. That we hold our idols (or celebrities in general) to such high standards forgetting that they’re just humans. That can often either lead to them being overwhelmed and moving to drugs or making other unhealthy behaviors to cope with the pressure; or when they do something “human” we tear them down for not living up to our inhuman expectations of them. Ronnie get a LOT of hate. Like a lot. For his past, and running his mouth now. Though now it’s usually deserved lol Ronnie summed it up way better than I just did lol but that’s the long winded version 😊🖤
I think that is a problem across the board. We want the liberty to be human, while we seem to want everyone else to be flawless. When I was running for, and elected, to local office. One of the things I would occasionally mention is that neither Jesus nor Buddha are running, so we will have to settle for someone flawed. Same with cops, etc. Hollywood has forgotten the point of the Noire period of art, that we are all flawed heroes. Because the first idol that we kill each day is the golden boy image of ourselves in which we gilt the real.

He was the front man of Escape the Fate before his incarceration. His song Popular Monster as Falling in Reverse is about his time inside. Another great song!

The black tar stuff represents his prior drug addiction and heroin. Hence the floating afterwards like the high from it. All of his videos have a deep meaning and the lyrics do as well. It's why I love the band.
Robbie recently said in an interview that if he had too. He sell his car in order the video. Video quality extremely important to his artistry. Even looking at early videos they extremely visually appealing

@8:19 I think the coloring effect is more likely just them using colored filter lenses on the camera and recording in monotone/B&W. It's a photography/cinematogrophy trick used to record the Moon sometimes, you put the camera into B&W then put a green/yellow/orange/etc colored filter lense on to change the tone of the moon.

I think the red is just a straight up gel over the lens, since it has a similar saturation to the ones I've seen used for monochrome grading. I enjoyed the renaissance man approach to your break down - videography, and musical critique.

tom and falling were supposed to be on tour before covid hit. the guitarist family member had got put in hospital so they called it off then covid hit. the lead singer is a great person. one warped tour in eastern WA state, he saw me dying in the hot sun after moshing and he bought me a bottle of water. lol anyways 🤪

Ronnie Radke is so awesome. I'm glad I found him. I wake up with his songs in my head. He can flawlessly mesh 4/5 genres of music together and make it sound perfect. Not everyone can do this.

I think this set was used in a Batman movie. The girl represents the drugs he struggles with that causes him to lose his mind. I heard it was his girlfriend that was also in I'm not a Vampire revamped .

Alone is still one of my favorites by FIR even though Ronnie says he cant stand that song because its a song about him flexing his riches and fame and telling everyone to fuck off he dont give a fuck bout you, but Id tell Ronnie yea we have all grown up and I get you see that as cringey now but fuck it you deserve to flex on fools and it hits fucking HARD! Might be lights that can produce whatever color you want, but it could easily be a filter on the camera or even just removing the blue and green from the image in post. Either way, the camera work and the use of lighting and color is superb.

That room is pretty famous, you've probably seen it in plenty of videos and movies over the years. It was pretty much the bat cave in the Nolan Batman films, it was a high tech computer room in the tv show Chuck, and I know I've seen it in numerous music videos. One you may enjoy if you want a react to another video filmed here is Red Sun Rising - Veins. They didn't wet the floor to create reflections so it gives a different vibe to the video.

it looks like the location of the video is from Batman: The Dark Night. The area that is used while the mansion is under renovation. It's also the same location for the Bane movie that gets flooded. At least that's what it looks like to me.
