Totally agreed. This song gives me all the feels. It almost seems like he is blacklisted by the academy of music b/c for any other top tier artist this would have won a grammy.

Ronnies vocals are amazing. Falling in reverse was supposed to tour with Tom, but things didn’t work out due to personal stuff and Covid. Both have several songs on my playlist. He’s taken everyone by storm. (The drug in me is you, both versions) and popular monster. Drugs, etc. 👏👏👏👏👏

Ronnie Radke have had a spotty past to put it mildly. Ha was incarcerated for 2,5 years and during that time he started this new band FALLING IN REVERSE (FIR). Previous band was called "escape the fate". A lot of his songs are about his drug addiction and mental health and also reflect the fear of loosing time with his daughter who makes a cameo in many of his videos. She is the main thing that keeps him grounded and present!
He wrote "the drug in me is you" during his incarceration and 9 years later he wanted to reimagine it as he felt that the original was not a true representation of the depth in the lyrics!! I can't wait to follow your journey with FIR. FIR and Tom Macdonald are my two favorite artists at this time!!!!🔥🤘🏻😍 please check out the song i mentioned above as well as the trilogy in the following order "losing my mind" , " losing my life" and "drugs". Ronnie have created his own genre of music and I find him to be a genius!! Love your reaction but the volume of the music could be higher to match the mic volume.

I wish my dad was still alive so I could show him this. He loved all kinds of music and I get my love of all music from him. But his favorites were always classical, opera, rock, and metal, and he had a certain love of musical theater as well. So I think this would’ve been right up his alley by combining basically all his favorites into one beautiful song with a great video to back it up. I miss him so fucking much and it kills me that I can no longer share that passion for great music with him.
Yours is my favorite reaction to this video. Because it is VERY similar to mine. That last swell when the choir the orchestra and his voice hitting that high note came together. Ronnie is amazing and truly multi-talented. He had a hard life growing up and went through a lot as an adult. This song is about his addiction. He plays multiple instruments has one of the most amazing voices in the business he writes most of his own music and he plays a huge part in the way the videos turn out.

Ronnie is a real artist. This man was lead singer of Escape the fate and they kicked him out of the band when he was in prison and he was everything in that band but I have so much respect for him bc even throw that and ppl throwing dirt on his name. He came out of prison and startrd his own band Falling in Reverse which has done very well , even better than his old band! He turned his whole direction around and so glad he did that bc his talent and skills are incredible. Always love a artist who puts so much effort and passion in his work. His vocal range is phenomenal. You should definitely do the trilogy that alot of other comments are suggesting. Its true art.
This song was dedicated to Derek Jones the lead guitarist of this band who unfortunately committed suicide in 2020. RIP Derek.

Great genuine reaction! Amazingly, this is a cover of a song this same group did 10 years ago. Last year they did The Drug In Me is Reimagined, with the original being The Drug In Me Is You. I recommend starting with the latter as it’s the original and will give some understanding to how much Ronnie has improved his vocals as he matured. The Reimagined version is possibly my favorite song in existence.. I bet you will absolutely love everything about it!
