ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it's true. So what's motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn't an easy time but I won't let fear dictate my life. I didn't think 'why me', there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it's not always smooth sailing. It's true when you hear, 'Life is short', the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It's so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?

I think it should be okay for "Best original song" or "Best Musical Score".

@@felixlara2945 Good point. I think the criteria for e.g. Academy Awards is if the song has been composed for that specific purpose instead of taking e.g. popular song and including it in a movie. Here both variants have been composed for the use of this band only but they are variants of the same song which is already pretty old. (Many awards only consider recent content.)
yup, Derek Jones was his Bandmate, Guitarist & Best Friend, Falling In Reverse was Derek's idea and Ronnie has stated that, so this was a goodbye for a long time friend who was there for him when he was at his lowest point in life.
Derek Jones was just an amazing guitarist. So much passion in his craft.
@@jeannerandall9670 oh he was! Since Derek's official cause of death wasnt released google said he committed suicide and Ronnie was FURIOUS called whoever told them that disgusting saying that it wasnt true and that hed never do that to begin with.

It's not just his voice, the lyrics, and the music, I kinda expect that excellent from him, he's a amazing musician after all
And aside of how well the director execute the music video and captured the essence of the song perfectly
It's his acting that I am not prepared for!! So emotional and so much conviction in his every scenes!! The sorrow, the sadness, the anger, the hopelessness!! he truly deliver! I believe everything he put out there here.

Amazing! I'm gonna watch the actual music video for the first time now and probably going to hit replay like a thousand times.
Pretty sure he actually did scream the end without technique, but I suspect if they do this live he'll dial it back and use fry, etc. I think his approach is similar to Kyo from Dir En Grey; does things that are clearly damaging in the studio, but uses proper technique live.

@@lysak89 oof, that’s kinda weird. especially if what you’re saying is true, lol. but anyway, it’s seriously his house. he ‘s done more than a few streams in- and outside his house. during one stream, he had his drone out and flew it around his yard (he admired his fountain for awhile, too) and took a ride around his neighborhood. :p

I love your reactions because you’re so motivated by the emotion, while ALSO appreciating the technique. So many people are leaning on one or the other. But you appreciate it all, and in such a charming way. I showed this to my Da on music appreciation night (something we started after my mom died a few months ago, cancer), showing him music that’s really technically spectacular even if it’s something he’d never listen to for fun. We’re both music nerds and are/have been in choirs, play instruments, I went to nationals, etc, so we really bond over music.
He doesn’t quite approve of screaming. He rationally knows it’s a technique to convey pain, rage, frustration, desperation, like other techniques. But emotionally, he just recoils from it. He’s always been pretty chill and I think the idea of exploring that kind of pain is uncomfortable for him and always will be. He never really understood my passion for darker and moodier music. For some, it makes them feel more alone and puts them in a funk. For me, it’s beautiful and more complex than happy emotions generally are, have more depth, and make me feel like I’m not alone with whatever I’m going through. It’s catharsis, or even… self-exorcism if I’m not doing so well. I’m glad he doesn’t get that, because he’s not had that experience.
That’s okay though. He can appreciate the technical feats on our Appreciation Nights, and we can talk and make memories, and catch the finer details from reactions like yours, and isn’t that what it’s all about? 😊

He's one of my favorite vocalists. And knowing how far he has come is just AMAZING. But Ronnie has always been a bit dramatic with his vocals.💕 You should see his other live performances and see how he plays with his voice and gives an opera feel in a lot of his music. He's definitely a vocalist with extreme range. I 100% will never get tired of hearing music from any band he's in. Love Falling In Reverse and love that you checked this out😁
