Was going to ask the same question. About to do my living room and I am a total novice. Can't be arsed with all that joint tape, 3 coats of ceiling putty and 2 days of sanding etc.
A couple of my walls have hairline cracks much thinner than these on this video. As in, so thin filler won't go in. Am I supposed to make the cracks bigger to be able to fill or is there another way?
Your having a laugh mate! You can still see the crack after it's been filled, then when it's been painted the final camera shot is too far away to see anything. I wouldn't waste my money!

Yes. Use a stanley knife or a filling knife to make it wider so that the filler can adhere to it
