I used to stutter when I was a kid and I did the same thing. Just pretend to lose track or have another thought so I could get the next word out. I think that's what's going on.
I wasn't watching the video when listening and I kept thinking I was accidently skipping through the video from hitting a key or something, he like stuttered then instantly changed what he was saying.
