I got a cheap polyester sleep sack on amazon as well, it didn't have zippers, but I opened up the side seam to about where my knees are and that should work out. I am also thinking about two large safety pins each of the bottom corners to pin to the mattress (if possible) to avoid the sack "riding" up or twisting during the night. I am hoping to be assigned a lower bunk, since I'm 65, but if I have to be on the top bunk, I'll use a night jar so I don't wake up the whole albergue getting down in the middle of the night.
Did you ever provide a list of the stages you walked, and Albergue you stayed at? I definitely want to change up my next Camino, just for the variety, and for it not to be a “do over”, because it certainly will never be. Can’t wait. Thanks, Hilary
I put 2 sleeping bags together to make one big one and I'm trying to find a liner that will zip together to make one big one can this one be zipped together with another one ?
I just checked and it looks like it’s no longer available. Darn! Look for one with a zipper down the side (and bottom of you get hot) and, depending on when you’re going, a little bit of a thicker fabric.
