One of the best things for me is that neteyam doesn’t know he is dead. The tree of souls holds all the children of eywa yes, but it only holds what the Na’vi uploaded to it, the last time neteyam connected to the tree was right before kiri got her seizure. So he is unaware of the danger, of his siblings being in danger, of the humans finding them and of all the suffering, he is truly at peace and I’m happy with that, he deserves to rest in peace. As much as I want him back I am perfectly happy with him being at peace, only sad thing is that kiri won’t be able to see him again as she can’t connect to the tree anymore
Neteyam💔 I was oh so sad when he died. Lo’ak from the beginning of the movie just gets himself into trouble and Neteyam has to pull him out of it. The situations just keep getting worse and worse until finally it cost Neteyam his life. I understood as a story why it needs to happen, but I didn’t want it to happen😭
So much emotional brought into this sequel 😢 all that inspired build up character and the mammals creatures are amazing. Hope Jake still face him on Avatar 3
Spider wasn’t helping them…did you not see the part where quaritch told him if he doesn’t come along, he’ll send them back to the lab where they’d torture him? He literally had no choice if he wanted to live. Plus he was trying to help the reef village so there were be anyone killed
He wasn’t even doing anything…how could he? He so small compared to the avatars not to mention WHERE COULD HE HAVE GONE?? The sullys didn’t come rescue him, neither did the scientists with norm….he is stuck in the middle of the ocean where he can easily run out of oxygen if he escapes and the tracker in his mask they could use to find him again…. I don’t think you girls really understand this movie or the plot and I hope it’s because it’ doesn’t seem like English is your first language
@@jjminn95 Well if he left Quaritch like he should've, maybe he'd have a chance. Now that he's supposedly reunited with Jake and the others, he has to live with that guilt of knowing he saved him. That was his only character flaw 🙄Otherwise? Totally likable

Spider wasn't really "helping them" by choice he was their prisoner. He was doing as little as he possibly could to help them without refusing to and having to go back to the scientists, which makes a lot of sense considering he's 15/16.
Ya, Spider is a 16yo kid who either stays with Quaritch, or goes back to base to be tortured. There was a tracker built into his mask, so he couldn't simply escape. Before this, he only really knew the scientists who stayed behind, and they didn't show up to get him off of base (they were rather isolated, and small in numbers.) Spider's choices, once he was taken by avatar Quaritch, were limited, if he wanted to live. I think maybe Spider was paying Quaritch back, for letting Kiri go, more than trying to save him. If he had harmed Kiri, I honestly think Spider would not have pulled his bio father's avatar from the water. The Tulkun, as a culture, made a choice to be nonviolent. Payakan, and the other Na'vi & Tulkun who fought, went against their culture. The only survivor was outcast. Lo'ak bonding with Payakan was forbidden because of it, but as we see, nearly all of the kids propel the story through good and bad decisions.
I'm predecting that Quaritch will have a heroic character arc in the following movies. He's already not the same gung ho marine from the first movie. He's more reserved, more willing to learn the language and culture. I'm sensing an eventual shift to either the good side, or an uneasy alliance. Like Zuko from Last Airbender. Or he might have a heroic self sacrifice or something.
@anonymous never trust the director. Especially with so much more story down the line, he's gonna be trying to throw you off with vague and inaccurate statements.
Jake was mad at Lo'ak after the death because he kept making Neteyam agree to do dangerous stuff that can get them into trouble (beginning of the film where they took down the train, throughout the film how Neteyam always took the blame and at the end of the film where they get spider.) Hence why the blood was literally on his hands in that death scene because he is the one who said they have to go get Spider even though they didn't need to as Spider was never going to get hurt.
They did needed to save spider. He didn’t want any part the RDA anymore. After spider sabotage their ships, who knows what they were going to do to him. Jakes kids love spider more than the parents. If anyone’s to blame to blame it’s Lyle, he’s the one who shot him.
I agree that out of all the kids, Spider is the safest of them all. Lo'ak saved Spider because him & Kiri only cared for him Neteyam just reluctantly agreed to help cuz his brother is going to save him. It's just very unfortunate that he died. Na'vi's life span is very long & he died too young :
@@SuperiorPhantom-dx6vh but still at the end of the day, neteyam shouldn’t of been tasked to get spider. That’s why i’ll never understand if he was one of them i wouldn’t save their enemy.
@@SuperiorPhantom-dx6vh I feel like Spider was more than capable of saving himself. He didn't need Neteyam or Lo'ak to save him. 19:30 (This is totally not her nature) Actually, this is as natural as it gets. Same with humans. This is who Type A people are at our core. Every day people suppress and restrain their true nature, true personality, and true emotions... in order to conform their behavior to be compliant with laws and rules, as well as being seen as "civilized" and "reasonable" by society. When people are pushed to their breaking point, they become their true selves....whether its crying and rocking, frozen in fear and indecision, running and hiding, or hostile and bloodthirsty. Fight, flight or freeze. That is not to say that Neytiri isn't empathetic towards her own people, flora and fauna on Pandora and her family. That's her nature too. But she is also fierce, impulsive, and violent when angry. She's been holding back and showing restraint with her true nature while the humans are messing up her planet and running them off from their home...now her son was killed by humans, she's done holding back. This is 100% Neytiri unleashed. :)
If you can't stomach what Quaritch and company do to the local natives, that's nothing compared to what American troops did in Vietnam. Have you ever seen Platoon?
29:00 Only 5% of the human race is born with a personality disorder (NPD and ASPD) that prevents them from feeling empathy for anything other than their self-interests and objectives. -- 95% have the capacity for empathy...should they have the maturity and ethics to show it. I don't want this to be TL;DR... but before social media, youtube and movie reactions, the 5% were the most visible in the media that focuses on the worst of humanity.-- Most of the people making the movie reactions have empathy. Imagine there are a few channels where sociopathic narcissists do reactions (real ones, not parody) Point being that if humanity was 'mostly bad' as these movies make it seem....then most of the people making reactions would be cheering the villains, enjoying the suffering they cause, and showing annoyance when the protagonist prevails. Again... 95%
Quaritch will join the evil ash fire navi people they are the stongest navi clan and later he will become a good guy redemption arc something will make him change i guarantee you
Are you sure he's going to join them? After all, it seems logical if the water clan allies themselves with the good humans this time. a 2v2 fair fight. OUTSTANDING!
Yeah for sure is beautiful seeing something such as that made, where we hardly see anything like that happening in this world itself. But there is much more to even what was made in the world of Pandora and the blue avatar people. And as how much Ewya was praised, it seems like the aspect of God is consistently mocked at, and I have actually seen it from some of the reactions from the other movies.. there will come a time where people will enter into God’s presence, but will have to give an account for what they did in this life, if they chose to accept or follow Him, but everyone is given a choice, and we have to decide, and then, outside of this world, and God Almighty’s kingdom. It will be beyond anything we all can imagine. He knows our hearts inside and out, and desires, everyone to call upon Him.
I wish Cameron showed at least one innocent human woman aboard that ship crying out for mercy only to be cut down by Neytiri, regardless. I mean, they dont mind savagely murdering people on this ship. They need to show the ugly reality of a murderous rage. Jesus Christ taught us the importance of mercy. If we didn't embrace mercy, we would still be fighting each other in fierce tribal warfare where whole societies are destroyed, all of the men and boys are executed. That's what happens
I’m not sure if you’re tuned into current events, but humans are still tribal (gangs, countries, states, governments, factions, etc.) and we’re still slaughtering each other. Neytiri’s rage is justified. Anyone with a child could tell you that they’d do the same if they could. If someone took my son, they’d have to gun me down to stop me from taking everyone in my path off this earth.
@@Ahoykatieee And most states or countries here in the West are not actually warring with each other. Any fight you see on CNN (Russia-Ukraine) is staged
No, because that doesn't fit the narrative of the movie. The movie has very specific themes of family and conservation of nature. Adding new themes in like "revenge killing bad because innocent people can get hurt" is going to take away and distract from the movie and will hinder the momentum of the story. It will not serve the story.
@@IanJenn356094 Actually, it would be a testament to Cameron's skills as a filmmaker if he could make people forget what Neytiri did and still care about her. Look at The Godfather. People actually cried when he died, a murderer, an amoral criminal
People need to realize that spider saved Quaritch because he never actually threatened to kill him. Quaritch didn't slice him across the chest like neytiri. In fact he saved spider from the hate-filled neytiri. I would be worried about getting closer to the Sully family myself if I was spider
Quaritch is more hate-filled and Spider got to see it firsthand, so it’s not about that at all. Spider just has a good heart and used it to save someone who didn’t deserve it. He chose to go back to the people who treat him like family despite what happened with Neytiri. Her rage was justified, nothing that Quaritch did was justifiable at all…and Spider is smart enough to know that. We’ll see if Neytiri can move past it with Spider in the next movie, but he clearly has the support and protection of the rest of her family and saved Kiri’s life.
@@Ahoykatieee Quaritch did nothing American troops wouldn't do in Vietnam. Are you gonna say that they were all evil?? If you saw what real backward tribes do to each other and then if that to your own friends, it's easy to get hateful. I've seen video of people in Uganda actually burning their neighbors alive and then eating them. If that happened to a friend of mine... OH BOY
That's because he had Kiri at knife point. You'd think the character he relates to and who cares most about him out of the Sully family would matter more, but nope. Just saves the person who nearly cut a slit through her neck...And Neytiri's rage is totally justified after all she's been through so don't act like her hate isn't valid and just comes out from nowhere
I really hate all of the self loathing that movies like this promote, you really shouldn't hate your own species. Although yes a very small minority practice and have practiced such things as whale hunting, most people rightly view it as barbaric and have almost eradicated it. If James Cameron believes that people are so bad, toxic and should be killed he should start with himself and the same goes for anyone else who believes the same. As far as we know humans are the only species in the universe that even has the capacity to care for other species and nature.
Small minority??? Do you even know how many species have gone extinct because humans hunting them? ….this shows a very true side of humans, the greedy side
I understand completely. We really shouldn’t hate our own species. I think that’s why some people are a little sour towards the first movie, too. They do t like seeing humans as “evil” while the Na’vi are good and all knowing. First, let me just get this out of the way that Cameron said in the movies moving forward, there are king to be some bad Na’vi and some good humans. He’s going to flip the roles, so to speak. Ok, the next thing I’d like to mention, if it’s ok, is that as conflicting as it is yo root against the humans in this movie, we do have some monstrous humans littered throughout our history: serial killers, r*pists, pedophiles, human traffickers, and so on. One example I’ll bring up is the Jeffery Domher case (if that’s how you spell his name.) And I’m not just talking about him. I’m talking about every single person involved in that bizarre case; to the police who literally lead a kid to his death to the people supporting said officers and saying they did nothing wrong and shouldn’t lose their jobs over it. Of course, humanity isn’t all bad, but we unfortunately have infamous examples through our history, and I think what this movie (and the first one) is saying is that no matter how far in the future and technically advanced humanity get, we’ll always go back to our roots. At least that’s what I think.
@@dgurlie-0273 I get it, I really do, we are capable of doing very bad things but for the most part I like to think that people are good. The media likes to push the bad that some horrible people do as that sells/gets more clicks etc. I think the fact that it does sell more almost proves the point that people are mostly good as its the "norm" so its not as interesting to most.
@Phil Hayes, Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah, I agree with you on that. People do want to see the outrageous because it’s not normal. I think you’re right. Humans can be good. Humans are good. But like I said, moving forward, we’re going to see bad Na’vi and good humans. We’ll see how it goes.
I know at least 15 people in real life who have seen this movie, and who’ve been dying to see it ever since it was announced. (Three work friends, my work friend’s spouses and kids, people in my family, and myself have seen it several times. Wow, so actually, it’s more than 15 people.) This is 100% Neytiri unleashed. :)
Hey homies love you ladies
If you can't stomach what Quaritch and company do to the local natives, that's nothing compared to what American troops did in Vietnam. Have you ever seen Platoon?
what does it have to do with anything
this ladies looks very handsome
Neytiri she will became evil in the next movie and Quaritch good.
Great video.
Imagine there are a few channels where sociopathic narcissists do reactions (real ones, not parody)
Point being that if humanity was 'mostly bad' as these movies make it seem....then most of the people making reactions would be cheering the villains, enjoying the suffering they cause, and showing annoyance when the protagonist prevails. Again... 95%
3 lady wonder why the general still live
3 movie avatar it will end until will see him again.
I would never watch a movie like this with people screaming like that ^^
What the hell that crazy British woman talking about the poor people😮
Quaritch will join the evil ash fire navi people they are the stongest navi clan and later he will become a good guy redemption arc something will make him change i guarantee you
Are you sure he's going to join them? After all, it seems logical if the water clan allies themselves with the good humans this time. a 2v2 fair fight. OUTSTANDING!
@@tako-ren it would honestly make sense since Cameron said that the Ash Na’avi wouldn’t all be good. So if that’s true i could definitely see that
@@cherrybxmb18 quaritch will help them get human technology like weapons and stuff
I love all 3 of you women but where the hell is Vicky?
RRR movie reaction please
Soy la del medio
Girls… Please understand what Nuance means. Because NONE of you seem to…
👍👍😊😊
@@Ahoykatieee So you're not a Christian huh?
@@KashiKay Whatever. I never said she wasn't right be angry. What she's doing with that anger is wrong. Spider doesn't deserve it
I want the humans to win
Why?
Agree, they should give up their greed and cruelty and economic schemes and live in equilibrium with each other and the rest of nature.
@Phil Hayes,
Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah, I agree with you on that. People do want to see the outrageous because it’s not normal.
I think you’re right. Humans can be good. Humans are good.
But like I said, moving forward, we’re going to see bad Na’vi and good humans. We’ll see how it goes.
