Joe! Your videos are awesome man. Great eye on detail and simlicity too. Keep on making them, mad props! One question over HDF's product line..Ordering in amount of Shine, less to more, the order would be.. Quicksand (driest look) ---(LEAST SHINE) Claymation (mattish) Sponge Wax (think out of the shower, towel dried hair, ordered, with volume) Scheme Cream (natural look) Hybridized Wax (satin, like a tux's lapels) Gravity Paste (like a 2nd day hair) Modify Pomade (greaser, wet, shiny hair that doesn't harden)---(MOST SHINE) Right? Taking in consideration the three ways you suggest to apply them hair products.. 1) just apply them on dry hair, 2) apply it on damp hair, or 3) damp hair application, then blow dry, then apply again. Cheers mate!
Thanks! A video should be coming out soon.. I'll be uploading one to my channel from my time with HDF (including Jordan). Hope you enjoy it when it's here! :)
Thomas In Action I placed my order nearly 4 weeks ago and still haven't received my package. Not sure what's going on to be honest. I contacted the company almost twice, and no reply yet. Hopefully, I will receive my package.
congratulations on getting on at Hanz de Fuko! How did you get in with them (product lineup and job) if you don't mind my asking? was it your videos? thanks!
Hey Joe, I have very long straight hair that is kinda heavy. I like to slick it back with the Modified Pomade by HDK but throughout the day it tends to 'ware off' and become loose. I was thinking of buying Scheme Cream, would that be suitable for my hair? Thanks
Sahweet :) my hair is getting a lot longer on top, so I've been starting to use more of my Hanz de Fuko shtuff. Sponge wax is definitely my go-to product. Quicksand is so funky! When I rub it in my hands, it feels smooth, but when I put it through my hair, it feels sandy and it makes my hair feel dry, but not a bad dry. I think my hair is too thick for using Quicksand alone; however, I like "cocktailing" it with Sponge Wax. I haven't tried my Hybridized Wax yet. The shampoo and conditioner... Awesome stuff! I love the way it smells! When I use it there's no dramatic difference to my hair, but it definitely looks and feels healthy :)
hey!! what you said about Quicksand is my exact thoughts as well. I got pretty thick hair and using quicksand by itself can be challenging but mixing it gives a good result :) thanks for sharing your experience with HdF products because I'm always curious to know how other people like them as well... let me know how that Hybridized Wax works for you!
Each product is fine on its own but cocktailing can bring your styles to new heights. I'm currently starting off by applying some Scheme Cream to my just showered damp hair, blow drying in the direction that I want to style and then finishing up with some Sponge Wax for extra hold. Works great for me.
Scott Toomey Hey Scott, you're absolutely right. Infact I find that Scheme cream is the best to do exactly what you just said, adding it to damp hair then blow drying.. I do this as well! So glad you liked the video :)
Thanks for the review! Personally, what hair products do you use everyday to do you hair? I like your style, you should post a vid of how to do you hairstyle! Ha ha
Hey man, thanks for all your videos. You do a great job. Just a heads up. I tried to use your coupon code and it didn't work for me. Not sure why. Anyway keep up the awesome videos. I just ordered some scheme cream for a more natural relaxed look and some modified pomade for when i go to work.
Alex E Hi Alex, I wash my hair every other day (and always before I go to bed). If it's a night when I'm not washing my hair, I at least rinse out the product at night so I have nothing in my hair, then in the morning I rinse it again in the sink and blow dry then apply product. Thanks for your comment :)
BluMaan Thanks for your answers ! I'm from Paris and you post some nice videos broo :) Can you please tell me if I can found Hanz de Fuko products in Paris please ?
Alex E It means a lot for you to say that man :) I'm glad you like my stuff! And the great thing about HDF is that they ship worldwide, you just need to order from their website! what kind of hair do you have? Maybe i could help advice on which HDF product you should get!
BluMaan My hair is a bit like yours, but shorter than yours :) Maybe if you can see my picture that can help you :) It wave a little too. Thanks for your advices man, that's cool = )
I wonder if you ever get bored of answering all my questions I leave on all your videos...So yes you guessed it another question coming from me lol. I want to start using the Hanz de Fuko products on my hair and experience them for myself but I do not know where to get their products from other than on their website. I live in Los Angeles and was wondering if you by any chance knew where around here I can possibly find their products??? Awsome videos BTW haha.
haha no worries Carlos :P actually I don't live in Cali.. I was flown out by HDF to do the video with them but I actually live in Virginia right now so I can't help you with that kind of info, sorry :P you could ask HDF's facebook fan page they are usually good at responding!
Which product would you say is the most similar to Quicksand in terms of hold and shine? I've been using it for a while and I love the way it makes my hair look, but I don't like how dry and dead it makes my hair feel.
Hey Blumaan, Whats your recommendation for very straight, very thin, medium length Asian hair? You can see what my hair roughly looks like in my profile pic on the left. Note that due to my country being at 98% humidity, my hair loses ALOT of volume compared to drier countries. My hair naturally gravitates downwards and blocks my awesome forehead, I'd like to change to the slick back look but haven't found a product that can do it with full day hold yet. I also find that I need to run my fringe back with a hair straightener or it will fall 100% after a while so I'd have to be using the Hanz De Fuko product range while hair is dry not damp. When I research the product line, in theory, Quicksand is the go to product for fine thin hair but Modify Pomade sounds like what slicks your hair back, kinda torn atm... Help me out? :D
hey there, I wash my hair every other day (and always before I go to bed). If it's a night when I'm not washing my hair, I at least rinse out the product at night so I have nothing in my hair, then in the morning I rinse it again in the sink and blow dry then apply product
First off, is it healthy to wash out the product every night? My hair has so many Cowlicks, so my hair is always going all over the place! Is there anything I can use to help reduce this? And when you mean you don't wash it everyday does that mean you just don't use shampoo and conditioner everyday? :)
Hopefully you see this comment from an old video, I'm bingewatching your channel. Now your hair looks perfect in your later videos but in these earlier ones you can see its quite coarse? and wavy? Mine is wavy, dry and coarse and I hate how no product ( i use claymation) can hold it how I like.. my waves break free. Now My hair ontop is only 2-3 inches long and looks sort of like how yours does in this video. Im hoping if I grow it out, it'll look like how yours does in your later videos. Wish me luck
Fate Wisdom I used them before. thank god they were samples, because the don't wash your hair that well, if you get them you MUST wash your hair every day even tho you shouldn't with most shampoo and conditioners, but hanz de Fukus unless you have super dry hair, you must. also, they smell DISGUSTING, the shampoo isn't that bad but I almost threw up with the conditioner. so no, you probably shouldn't lol
It totally depends on your hair length and type... if you use a blow dryer I suggest putting scheme cream in damp hair, blowdrying in the direction you want to style, then finish off with either quicksand, sponge wax, or claymation. (Quicksand if you have thin hair, sponge wax/claymation if you have normal to thick hair)
yeah you can do it however its not great for your hair because it takes out all the oils and leaves your hair quite dry so you might as well use the conditioner
Denizcan Selvi Shampoo cleans hair but damages it a bit. The hanz de fuko shampoo is barely harmful, so you can just leave your hair like that. The conditioner is still usefull. Usually conditioner restores the damage the shampoo makes. It also repairs hair and thickens it. The Hanz de fuko conditioner does a great job at thickening the hair and just making it healthy. basically shampoo cleans but isnt good for hair, conditioner is good because it repairs hair.
Brandon Peter - Carter Lee when putting it in your rough it in comb two times and then leave it in for about five minutes, then style repeat until desired hold is obtained this method works great for me and I have 4 inches of thick heavy hair
I like the HdF stuff but I hate to say that I dont like the Sponge wax at all right now. I use it and I dont get any hold at all, my hair falls like after an hour :( I have fine hair I guess. I got that stuff from SlikhaarTV and I like the By Vilain and HdF products but Sponge wax isnt that good for me... Maybe i use it false
BluMaan I had the same problem with Sponge Wax. It is easy to use it and it gives a great structure in the hair but not enough hold. I have heavy hair and I need more hold. I used Claymation, a great product. Now, I use the Silver Fox and I have to be very careful with the styling. The hold is nice, but sometimes very extreme, very difficult to control. Whats your opinion about the Silver Fox? PS: My next product will be the Hybridized Wax. Maybe I combine it with Quicksand for a Messie - Look with a shiny effect. Sorry for my English :D Many greetings from Germany ;)
BigMadmax91 Use a couple of sprays of hairspray man! You can also use sea salt spray to help give you more control when styling for a long lasting style :)
Joe! Your videos are awesome man. Great eye on detail and simlicity too. Keep on making them, mad props!

Thomas In Action I placed my order nearly 4 weeks ago and still haven't received my package. Not sure what's going on to be honest. I contacted the company almost twice, and no reply yet. Hopefully, I will receive my package.
Nick Grace have u received the product yet?
Daniel Kim Yes I did! And the Claymation is an amazing product - Best product I have used by far!
Hey joe

Thank you in advance
congratulations on getting on at Hanz de Fuko! How did you get in with them (product lineup and job) if you don't mind my asking? was it your videos? thanks!
The conditioner is amazing

Hey man, great video. Super helpful :) but which hand de fuko product would you say has the best hold for thick hair?

hey mate, just wanna ask you, claymation and quicksand, which product have higher hold?
I'd say Claymation!
okayy thanks!
Could you make a scheme cream review
Fuck You
Thanks for the review! Personally, what hair products do you use everyday to do you hair? I like your style, you should post a vid of how to do you hairstyle! Ha ha
I've posted videos on how I do hair styles man :P I use Claymation more than any other product :)
Hey man, thanks for all your videos. You do a great job. Just a heads up. I tried to use your coupon code and it didn't work for me. Not sure why. Anyway keep up the awesome videos. I just ordered some scheme cream for a more natural relaxed look and some modified pomade for when i go to work.

have u tried the hybridised wax by itself yet
Can you do a review on Johnny B. Molding paste? Please
Which product would you say is the most similar to Quicksand in terms of hold and shine? I've been using it for a while and I love the way it makes my hair look, but I don't like how dry and dead it makes my hair feel.
what product would you recommend and for me I am rocking a pomp and I have thin hair
I have long thick hair, which product should I use out of the hanz de fuko line?
BluMaan So until now you are using this shampoo and conditioner?
You need to do a review like this for mister pompadour products
I think Cameron Cretney did one and since a lot of them are connected, they try not to do the same videos

What product did you have in your hair in this video? Hope you see this comment :)) love your videos. You are good at saying how to do it ;)

Which products would you suggest for a messy fringe and just a quiff?
i know it is a late reply but scheme cream from hanz de fuko is a good product
HI...!!! How heavy is the claymation??? Like how many "mL" or "Oz"???
Thuan Le, 2 oz or 60 mL
Hopefully you see this comment from an old video, I'm bingewatching your channel. Now your hair looks perfect in your later videos but in these earlier ones you can see its quite coarse? and wavy?

Hey..I Just got My Quicksand and It's Yellow in Colour..I just want to know Is It Original or Fake?
Is the modify pomade good for thick hair
Just noticed Space Bound
Manus Gale broooooo
Is The Hanz De Fuko shampoo and conditioner good
Fate Wisdom I used them before. thank god they were samples, because the don't wash your hair that well, if you get them you MUST wash your hair every day even tho you shouldn't with most shampoo and conditioners, but hanz de Fukus unless you have super dry hair, you must. also, they smell DISGUSTING, the shampoo isn't that bad but I almost threw up with the conditioner. so no, you probably shouldn't lol
thx
Do You recommend any Sulfate Free shampoo and good ones btw
Fate Wisdom depends, what is your hair type and texture, is your hair dry or greasy and is it color treated?
Dry
What is best for soft, thick hair :)
what best for medium + long hair? scheme cream cocktail with quicksand?
It totally depends on your hair length and type... if you use a blow dryer I suggest putting scheme cream in damp hair, blowdrying in the direction you want to style, then finish off with either quicksand, sponge wax, or claymation. (Quicksand if you have thin hair, sponge wax/claymation if you have normal to thick hair)
loved your back then tbh 😂
is it available in the philippines ? please answer my question i really need it this hair wax is nice
Yes. Back Alley Barbershop, Makati.
Ok thank you . Sir 😃
Slickville Babershop, Katipunan
does the coupon still work?
Is it OK to use hanz de fuko shampoo without conditioner
yeah you can do it however its not great for your hair because it takes out all the oils and leaves your hair quite dry so you might as well use the conditioner
What hair product would be good for dry hair
***** Or Modify Pomade. Maybe Hybridized Wax, too :D All these products are better for the hair than Loreal or Tigi
How hood is the hanz de fulo shampoo and conditioner
I like them a lot. You should use the conditioner after the shampoo, always. The conditioner restores the hair perfectly and thicker again.
Jan Nissen I know this sounds stupid to ask but what is a conditioner for ?
Denizcan Selvi Shampoo cleans hair but damages it a bit. The hanz de fuko shampoo is barely harmful, so you can just leave your hair like that. The conditioner is still usefull. Jan Nissen Thank you for replying back :) i really appreciate your feedback (y)
Hey joe I've just bought claymation and I'm gonna be honest the hold is awful 20 minutes after styling it falls flat wtf
probaly put to much on, also once you put it in your hands, start from the back.
+Doggo Censur Mertin that's what I did
Maybe it's not compatible with your hair type .
It's fine now I wasn't using enough lol
Brandon Peter - Carter Lee when putting it in your rough it in comb two times and then leave it in for about five minutes, then style repeat until desired hold is obtained this method works great for me and I have 4 inches of thick heavy hair
when ur watching in 2020 this is like watching joe as a fetus
what is the meaning of matte finish???
Its means there is no shine in the hair (:
thanks
Look it up maybe?
Which/what styling product did you have on your hair when you shot this video? :)
I really don't remember :/ it may have been Sponge Wax!
Maybe i use it false
ah really? well, not all products are meant for everyone! Have you tried HDF quicksand? because that stuff is good for thin hair..
BigMadmax91 Use a couple of sprays of hairspray man! You can also use sea salt spray to help give you more control when styling for a long lasting style :)
not available in india sigh :(
That sucks!
I can get in here in Nepal. It should definitely be available in India.
