I've been using this kit for months now. I love it and over time, I've gotten even better at it - now my nails look better than if I was to get them at the salon! I do recommend getting a full hand led nail lamp to save time and using the small beetles lamp to flash cure/secure the nails and then using the full led lamp to set them all at once.
I’ve been watching over and over . Each time thinking to myself “ naw can’t be this easy!” I finally took the plung and bought everything!! Yes it’s that easy and yes the color is beautiful!!! So happy. Thank you
Do you have a "part 2" for when they grow out? Pet peeve is when hair starts to get caught so that's my high sign-on time to refill. Wondering how you handle it. Thank you
You don’t actually need to add a dehydrator to the nail tip itself, if you had a primer that’s what you would add to the nail tip to help the tip adhere to your nail bed. Your nail dehydrator is just cleaning your nails of oil and sanitizing your nail bed, just like if you had just used rubbing alcohol. And also the “gel nail glue” is essentially a rubber base coat or a builder gel. Beetles Calling it “nail glue” Is just advertising like apres called theirs Extend gel. If you’re having any problems with the tip popping off I would recommend you either etching your nail tip with a nail drill or scrubbing part of the inside of tip with pure acetone, or brushing on a primer on the inside nail tip before you apply it. But regardless you did a really good job, I’m about to buy the sticker it very fast, simple and cute nail design,
I noticed she didn’t buff the nail prior to polishing them and didn’t use a base coat. I thought at least one of the two would be necessary for the polish to really adhere?
Omg! I have been going to the salon for years and I never thought about doing my own until seeing these videos. I just bought the kit today with a drill to rough up the inside of that nail and a large LED lamp. It’s on now! Thanks for sharing
You can also use base coat . I’ve used it as glue and my nails stayed on for a good 2.5weeks & you can use alcohol to clean up as well if the acetone is a bit strong for you
I love this video. The easy instructions, the intricate descriptions when needed for extra details and the fact that products were listed in order of the video. Thank you so much
I love this quick video!! Really want to get into nails at home. I have tried dip, and it was a hot mess for me. A lot of other methods seem too advanced for me. I also love how you can just paint them with gel polish and create a design that way!! ❤
Fyi- as of 01/27/22 the beetles nail tips, glue and lamp are $24.99 (free ship w/prime). Plus you can get this as a subscription as your tips run out, youll get another kit for that same price locked in.. Price will vary as popularity of item varies. I got mine in October 2021 at $15.99. Hi Sonia do you know the exact name of the polish , I click in the link but there’s several of them on that link not really sure which one is the one you’re using , I’ll appreciate it . Thank you love your videos 🌺🌺
Those little mini lamps are really only meant for flash curing. (So you dont have to do one nail at a time.) A full cure in a regular lamp should be done before painting.
Thank You so much! I am thinking of switching to gel polish and had lots of questions. You answered most if not all of them. Your video was quick, precise and right to the point. You're awesome!

Gorgeous and easy tutorial. Do they have the tendency to pop off here and there the same way press on nails do? Or will they last for two weeks straight then you soak off?

How long do the nails last?
How long should it take to do this in real time?

Should use dehydrater and primer and remove shine from natural nails with 180 grit file and put primer on the inside of tip that would help a lot 🥰
