- Here is another ragtime I wrote yesterday. I hope it sounds good because I tried to put a lot of sharps and flats everywhere. It was fun to do! I don't know if it's possible to play it tho.
I don't know how to name it again...
This piece has been written the same way as "Ragtime in C major". Considering how famous it has become, I tried to make something similar.
The inspiration is from the athletic themes from the mario games again.

Honestly one of the best ragtime pieces written recently that I've heard. There are two small points that I would say are unplayable but very easily rectified. Firstly, at the end of bar 37, having an acciaccatura before a five note chord at this tempo is almost impossible even for the very best pianists, this could be solved by removing the lowest A♭ which wouldn't alter the harmony. And secondly, in bar 48 most people cannot reach an interval of a tenth without arpeggiating, moving the middle C up an octave would fix this.
Thank you so much! Yeah, I noticed it too late for the bar 48. But I didn't see it for bar 37! I could also remove the B flat to keep the chromatic descent (or I don't know how to call it). But thanks for noticing these mistakes!

Jes' right! Just the right amount of secondary harmony. Just the right amount of blue notes. But you can never have too much syncopation.
