Louis hangs out with his childhood friends all the time, he really doesn’t have too many celebrity friends! His old friends have been in his music videos and went to some shows on his tour too.

I think the one that always feel attached to home is Zayn. He is a family man, you know when you watch the documentaries and zayn always happy to go home, and in some interviews they said Zayn would be the one who can go missing two to three days even weeks for not contacting the other boys bcs he's all about his family when he's home. ❤️❤️

They all hang out with their childhood friends over the years though to varying degrees and for some particularly Zayn, i think they’re more private about it. Important really especially because a bunch of late teens/early 20s men, good to separate some of it for some normality. I think all they went through good and bad had a deep effect on them all: good and bad and Zayn and Liam have talked about it. (I think they all have but particularly them)

And there is a TH-cam video out there where Danny said it was "energetic" working with Niall, then Tom said Niall knows what he wants. Niall is good friends with all 4 members of McFly, and organised a performance of their song Shine a Light on me with Tom and Danny, plus Ollie Murs and James Arthur over Zoom earlier this year during UK Lockdown. It's well worth a watch.
There is also a video of Tom and Danny from McFly performing at the RAF centenary service at The Royal Albert Hall. It makes me go cold every time I hear it. Tom wrote this son especially for this event. He is an ex RAF pilot.

They have all stayed in contact with old friends, and catch up when they go home, or have friends/family out to visit them. Niall has a cousin living with him in London. He is quick to point out that he is not a hanger-on, and is employed. He looks after the apartment when Niall is on tour. Harry has a group of friends from his home town who he keeps in touch with, including his old band White Eskimo.
This is one of my favorites awww the lyrics are just so heartwarming it’s so special especially when they sing it on tour because they’re so far away from home

Louis best friend from school Oli is his PA and quite often lives with him. He is an important part of Louis life and the fans love him.
I guess the song really depicts how Niall feels. He is from Mullingar, Ireland and then transferred to UK. And then was part of the biggest boy band in the world where he experienced to travel to different places all over the world. But despite all of it, the fame and everything, he still does not forget his roots, where he came from.

From what I know Louis, Niall and Harry are still very close whit there childhood friends...Louis has his childhood friends in his mv a lot of the times and they came to some of his gigs....Niall said that in the music industry there are a lot of ‘selfish people/artists’ and he preferred to hang out whit people that aren’t in the industry for that reason...although we can’t forget his amazing relationship whit Lewis Capaldi (and Shawn Mendez,) and he seems to get on pretty good whit Taylor Swift as he always just say good things about her..and he performed at one of her shows, just when ‘slow hands’ was released...btw this song is my second favorite out of 1D just because it means so much to because I’m always moving around and I miss home, but also because I can tell it means a lot to them and ofc because of the iconic lyric “if u ever feel alone, DONT” like that is supposed to fix everything hahahaha

I am jealous you actually get to go and work in an office! Both of my jobs are still working from home, and will be until at least the end of the year. My part time job is in private practice (I'm a psychotherapist) so I'm lucky to be able to do that through telehealth. But cabin fever is real! I dressed up to take my dog to the vet just to wear something other than sweats and pajamas! Thank God for good music. I'd be bonkers without it! 🥴

I agree Niall didn’t write himself as big a part. I think you’ll find they each do that. Louis in particular. They write these great songs but know who will fit best in what parts. It’s part of the magic of the last few albums. Everyone HAS a part, but that part is also especially suited to THAT singer.
